I met Sonya through other people and found her to be very personable, dedicated and passionate about her work. She is a true self starter, organized, structured and is a true professional. She is a mother as well and I have seen the patience with her children that clearly applies to how she deals with her clients. I highly recommend her.

I am a speech-​language pathologist for the Chicago Public Schools. The parents of a student that I treat for a language disorder in school were seeking additional outside services and asked me for a recommendation. I referred them to Sonya at Lakeshore Speech. They have reported being very happy with the therapy sessions thus far. She is very professional, explains what she is doing and gives them advice on how they can work with their son at home to support what she is doing in therapy. I, too, am very happy because she communicates regularly with me, so we are able to coordinate our therapy for the maximum benefit of the student. He is making wonderful progress. Sonya has informed me that she also works with adults, and judging by her professionalism and background, I am confident that she is simply a talented therapist all around. I can and will continue to recommend her to anyone who is looking for a speech-​language pathologist.
