These guys are great! I needed an economical, solid functioning Windows 7 laptop quickly, and after seeing their post on Craig’s List decided to give Linx8 a try. I went to their store and looked at a couple Dell models. They were very informative, friendly, helpful, patient, and honest offering to turn on/show off any equipment and to stand by what they sold me should I have any problems. I bought a Dell E6510 that day, haven’t had any issues, and I continue to be very happy with my purchase. I highly recommend Linx8, and will definitely be back to see them for my future computer needs.

Linx8 has been great! My family have all used their services, for repairs to my wife’s macbook, a memory upgrade for my iMac; a new(well, new to us) macbook for our daughter; phones, a used iTouch. Everything has been above board, all work is explained, and it is done VERY quickly.

This place might be great. I will never know. I have spent the last 4 hours trying to call them and consistently get a busy signal. I tried emailing them and my email was returned for failure to deliver. Kind of ironic considering their purported area of expertise…

My experience with Linx8 is a bit unconventional, but still instructive. I had attempted to upgrade the RAM on a Lenovo ultrabook. Despite easy RAM upgrades on other laptops, ultrabooks are especially dense and compact, and in the process of attempting the upgrade, I broke the laptop — it wouldn’t boot. Lenovo support suggested I try Best Buy, but I was not convinced, and I thought I ought to try someone local, which led me to Linx8. The fellow there worked on it for several days, and then told me the mother board was fried. I am sure he spent at least several hours of time researching and working on the laptop, but since he couldn’t fix it, he charged me nothing for his time. As a result, I finally did the right thing and shipped the broken laptop to Lenovo, who repaired it(for a considerable fee). Overall a humbling experience, and a reminder of why it’s so dangerous for a software engineer to carry a screw driver. I very much appreciate both the quality service as well as the sense of honor and honesty provided by Linx8. I am happy to recommend them.
