The massage itself was excellent — good pressure, and I felt great when I left. The facility was also nice — brightly colored rooms in a lovely old house. Not the sterile feel of most Asian massage places. However, the overall experience is quite poor given the number of interruptions. During a one hour massage, the therapist left the room at least six times to take phone calls or talk to drop-​in customers. She even made a few phone calls while I was receiving my message! Her limited English was also a problem in that she could not understand when I gave explicit direction about which body parts not to massage due to injury. So, if you need an inexpensive massage ASAP because you woke up with a stiff neck, come on in. Do not expect a great overall experience, though. Note to RHC Manager/​Owner: Put on a second staffer to take calls and do scheduling, especially on a Sunday in Highland Park!
