Yay ‘Im a fan. We should all be fans. Food Trucks are larger than life. Wow… now im just quoting Back Street Boys.

Where do I start. I have never been so disrespected ! I did not even try this place or even get the chance to order my food. I went with my friend she placed her order and I was told to wait to place mine. Ok so I’m waiting. Soon after a couple aproached the window and order their food. I’m a little confused as to why my order was not taken. The old raggedy man tells my friend her food is ready. My friend asks if she could pay her two orders separate, and he tells her «no you can do the math in your head it’s only $ 6 dollars «first off wtf ?! What kind of customer service is this ! My friend and I were shocked and of coarse our facial expressions were not great after his rudeness. I am a little upset at this point and Ask if I could order my food since I have been waiting and he tells me «no did you already ordered «I said «no I did not she did «then he said «I don’t want to serve you. «My friend demands her money back and as we walk away the old raggedy man opens his little truck door and yells «you stupid ass bitch «all I could do was laugh. Who treats a customer this way not only a customer but a Woman. I’m pretty sure he is an old lonely depressed man. Either way he had no right to treat us this way. Well that’s what I get for going to a raunchy ghetto ass place in highland park.

The tostadas have a unique taste you wont find anywhere else and the prices are even better but the older guy there is very low tempered and think hes tough. Thats why I took three stars off but other than that i think the place is good., but dont mind, enjoy your meal and youll be okay.

Really bomb! Came here from a recommendation from my uncle. We got the ceviche de camaron and coctel de camaron. Both were delicious!
I would only recommend putting tomato and cucumber in everything I find it more filling. But no complaints on flavor or price!
Would recommend this for others :)

Went there for lunch today and was so disappointed, the quality of the food and the service, the food has really gone down a lot I order 6 tostadas de jaiva (crab imitation) witch cost 1.50 one of pulpo (octopus) 2.00 and one mixed that has everything 3.00 and two mixed coteles 5.00 each not bad. I did the math b4 I paid and it came out to 24 bucks when I went to pay the owner said it was 25 dollars I am not one to argue over a dollar but politely I asked why was it more and very rude the owner told me «what’s wrong with you son don’t you know how to add, do the math» I was just like wow I was just asking and he continued to lecture me how he’s been working in his truck for over 25years with is bullshit since I grew up in highland park I know he haven’t been there that long, he Continued saying how his prices haven’t changed and he’s serving the same quality so he knows how much his stuff cost, at the end I have him 30 dollars and he gave me back 6bucks so I guess it was 24 dollars so what was the point of all the hassle??? Now I’ve seen the owner get into it with other ppl and now I know why, last time I was there before today he almost got into a fist fight with another older gentlemen. After this not going there again, rather drive a little bit more and go to another place

No stars for this roach coach place. Ive been continuously going to this place hoping for more javiva or shrimp but never happens. Last tike I’ll be going here. Do not come here if you like Cole slaw tostadas.

To all the detractors out there: the truck uses a light cream sauce that is not mayonnaise and enhances the incredibly fresh seafood and avocado that abound the plate. It also goes really well with their homemade red sauce, la roja bruja, and is simply delicious.
The prices are criminally low, the portions are ridiculous and the cocktails are also incredible. With the usually beautiful California weather, the bright green park makes eating there a treat.
In short, this place is the best.

How is it the best you seen those tostadas they are empty what a rip off. I want a seafood tostada not a coleslaw tostada

This truck has never dissapointed me so far. By far one of the best shrimp tostadas I’ve had. The way it’s put together is ridiculous. The price is just right making me want more. Give this place a try. I’m sure it won’t dissapoint you.

I didn’t care for them. Who puts mayonnaise on a seafood tostada? Ewww, Gross! Not my cup of tea.

Disappointed with the service, after reading all the reviews I really wanted to check this place out. Decided to walk all the way here and even though I got here 45 min before the closing time posted on the truck they told me they were closed. I would have understood 10 min or so but 45 min? At actually the closing time posted on the truck it’s 6:45 but the time posted here is later.

This place is heaven when it comes to trying a new take/​taste on Hispanic seafood. The food is so good that ive been there a few times and they jad to close early due to them running out of food. Dont believe just go try it yourself

Very clean eating. Known Rico for many years. He takes his physical health very seriously. Ask him for a front double biceps shot! As a result you can imagine the attention to ingredient detail and quality control. Love everything on the menu. Great food from a great Family.

You will not be disappointed! The tostada mixtas are as good as the first time that i’ve ever had them. Fresh and full of flavor — yummy!!!

I enjoy coming to this seafood truck and eating my seafood at the park. Everything is so delicious. You can enjoy your seafood while the kids play at the park costumer service is very important to me and the staff here are very friendly.

I live really close to this truck and my fiancé’s coworker mentioned to him that it was good. Ever since, my fiancé has been buying tostadas and shrimp cocktail from this truck. I’ve tried both. The cocktail is fine and a good value since it’s only $ 5 bucks for a good-​sized portion. The reason for only 3 stars is because I really did not care for the creamy sauce everyone else seems to be raving about. This is the only place I’ve been to that puts this kind of sauce on their tostadas. It was light and creamy, but has this weird, kind of sweet flavor that I just didn’t like with the tostada (and I don’t think it’s at all like tzatziki, which another reviewer compared it to). I prefer mine with just the watery red salsa on top that you’re given with these.
My fiancé’s been several more times since, but I really have no desire to eat there again. I definitely prefer the food from 4 Vientos or Mariscos Jalisco, the truck on Olympic, but unfortunately those aren’t as close.

Had this place for the first time and it’s bomb!!! Sea food tostadas only and it’s park in from of sycamore park and they been parking there for 30 years that’s crazy. food is good and cheap. Definitely coming back soon

I“ve been coming to this food truck ever since I’ve been introduced to it. The owner always tries to give a little extra in he tostadas when I order. If you like seafood and haven’t tried this place, you should.
Try their cocktel mixto, it has everything for $ 5! That’s a deal!
