Twice we’ve ordered through Grubhub. Both times I ordered a salad which was fantastic, the Asian salad to be specific, but how can one mess up a salad? I do not judge a restaurant by their salads, but rather, by the ordinary food, the simple food. Can they get that right? Nope. Garbage. Both times. First was the sliders which were tasteless, unseasoned, dry. The second time we ordered a slab of ribs only to receive a call from Grubhub that the restaurant only only one half slab left. That should have been a sign not to order them but we went ahead with the half slab and ordered the chicken wings. The ribs were absurdly dry as were the wings which tasted old and so dry we couldn’t get through a single wing. What an embarrassment to an establishment that tries to pass off this garbage as food. If you cannot properly run a restaurant then quit. You have no business trying to serve this pathetic food to the public. What’s the matter with you? Never again will we give you money. To anyone contemplating ordering from here: DONOT. Spend your money on a place that actually takes pride in their food instead of trying to sneak dried, old food on to you thinking you won’t notice. Place should be ashamed.

Love this place!!! Wish it were a restaurant as well. We order at least twice a month and the food is consistently excellent. Wish the delivery time were a little shorter, but I would recommend TasteBudz for delivery any and every time.

So we ordered Tastebudz from Grubhub for delivery. I didn’t know what to expect since there are no reviews on this place. However, a quick google search revealed that they used to be «The Grill» in Highwood. In any case, we ordered 3 salads and 1 reuben sandwich. At over $ 10 each salad or sandwich, this place better be amazing. Salads were fine. But my reuben sandwich was a joke. The official description is «Authentic New York-style corned beef, Swiss cheese and sauerkraut with our own thousand island, piled high on Chicago’s best rye.» I had maybe about 3 ounces of overly salted processed corned beef in my entire sandwich. Apparently«piled high» has lost all meaning — better words would be «scraps» or «piled sparingly» or maybe«good luck finding the meat». Also, the«cottage fries» are potato chips. And the sweet potato fries taste processed and frozen. I would have rated this 1 star for the sandwich and fries, but added 1 more star because the salads are decent.
