Jimmy is great! He listens to your chief complaint and provides a no-​nonsense acupuncture. I personally do not like to talk a lot during treatment and Jimmy just does what he has to do and leave you alone. I have had back issues from work injury for years and acupuncture has been helping but with Jimmy’s skills and knowledge, I am able to get relief relatively fast compared to other acupuncturists that I have been to.

He fixed my right foot using «trigger point acupuncture». With two appointments and one easy exercise he prescribed, I can walk comfortably again.
Am hoping to take Tai Chi soon.

I just read my original review written several years ago Jimmy continues to be my healer, my mentor and my hero. I’m recovering from a major shoulder operation– rotator cups –completely torn off not ripped. Freak accident. My surgeon today (again) stated to his colleagues that this was the worse he’s seen and he’s an expert –Sports Specialist in this field –top rated medical center, etc.
I’ve chosen acupuncture, Jimmy specifically, as an alternatives for pain and a source of healing. It’s wonderful not to be dependent on «meds» for this very painful period. Thank you Jimmy for your continuous support — still hate the thought of needles — but love the results — young wise man!

Jimmy is the man! I was completely happy for the treatment I received for my rotator cuff syndrome. He knows what he is doing I didn’t even have to pinpoint my pain areas. After many unsuccessful years of treatment, he alleviated all my pain in a few short visits.

I highly recommend Jimmy if you are looking for a good acupuncturist ! I have suffered from chronic neck pain for the last two years. Prior to finding Wu Shu Acupuncture, I tried many ways to alleviate my neck pain including, pain medications, physical therapy, and injections. I am very athletic and was unable to run or cycle due to the neck pain I was experiencing. I can happily say that after seeing Jimmy on a consistent basis my neck pain is gone ! I am getting ready to start running and cycling once again. Jimmy is extremely professional, focused, and I am grateful that I found him. I will continue to use his services to stay healthy. Dr Jimmy has really helped out my neck and back. I have been going to see him for about a month now and I have come along way in a month. I was getting to the point where the pain in my neck was leading to anxiety and other issues but through his trigger point accupuncture I can say I am so much better. On top of that Jimmy and hiswife are friendly and professional. They have a wonderful set up which is clean and welcoming as well. And on top of all that, I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes to see Dr. Jimmy. I would highly recomend Wu Shu Accupuncture!

My goddaughters take the Kung Fu 3 times a week and are disappointed when they miss a class. It has given them confidence and improved the quantity and quality of physical activity, dedication and determination since starting the class!
Sifu Jimmy and Jennifer are great instructors for the class as well. They show that they are dedicated and caring when it comes to the students. They are great role models for the students of all the principles they teach!

My two boys have been learning Kung Fu with Sifu Jimmy for almost a year and I have really seen a change in them. Not only are they stronger and more coordinated, they are also more motivated, disciplined and respectful — both at home and school. Plus, not only do the kids get great exercise here, they have also made some really good friends. Overall, one of the best programs around. I would highly recommend this to any kids interested in martial arts!

Years ago, I visited Jimmy Liu at his old office in South Pasadena to cure my neck pain. Too much work on the computer caused shooting pains in my neck and in the back of my skull. Jimmy conducted 2 or 3 acupuncture treatments and suggested that I sleep with a thinner pillow or folded towel. Since those treatments, my neck pains have not re-​occured.
At his current Highland Park located, I take classes in Lameco Eskrima, a Filipino martial art. After every class, I feel like I’ve learned something new and have had a good workout.
In both treating patients for pains, and as a martial arts teacher, there is no one better than Jimmy.

This place is my favorite king fu studio and my local hang out. My enemies tremble before me thanks to this place!
The instructors are nice and very helpful. They teach Eskrima, Kung fu and a bunch of other stuff. We’re currently learning take downs and arm breaks.

Boy, is Sifu Jimmy dedicated to his craft of Wu Shu and cares for his students. When you think that you know all there is to a Wu Shu form, he helps you discover more. I never stop learning, stretching beyond myself, and it’s such a great meditative work out that sheds the fat and whips you into shape. Jimmy is a great coach, he’s patient but stern. If you want to get in shape and learn a skill that could protect you in the hood, this is the place to be. There is much of a camaraderie between the students and that is all fundamentally shown by the leaders of the studio, Jimmy and Jennifer.
He’s also gifted with acupuncture. I don’t like any needles being stuck into my skin, but there’s something about it that relieved my pain.

I have nerve damage on a branch of nerves between the right side of my neck and shoulder. I have been in severe pain for two years. The doctors couldn’t figure out what to do after extensive treatments such as steroids, medication, epidurals, etc. I found Mr. Liu and his gift and after a few treatments i’m so much better. I have life back now thru natural medicine with no side effects. Acupuncture has very little to no pain and the benefits are amazing. Don’t be uncomfortable and In pain anymore. It’s so simple. I had a great experience with Jimmy Liu. I had a pinched nerve after a back injury and after 6 sessions I feel great. He knew exactly what and where to focus on each visit and had a great overall understanding of my needs. It was my first experience with Acupuncture so I can’t really compare him to others but I do know that I saw immediate improvement after each visit. I would definitely go back to him.
