Charming Charlie – Highland Village

Been to this one and one other and I will say that this one is great, easy to find things, workers help in any way possible, and the quality of the products is awesome for the price. No complaints.

They have good merchandise at reasonable prices, but the service want amazing. My sister and I used their 2 dressing rooms and after 2 minutes of being in there we were made aware by a worker that people were waiting on us. So we quickly tried on our clothes and felt super rushed. Not the best experience ever.

They have so many things here! I never quite find what I’m looking for, but I’m also a very picky person when it comes to accessories.
My favorite thing about this location is the friendliness and amazing customer service every single time, wether they like their job or not, it looks like every single employee loves what they do. I love coming in here just for that reason and you should too!

I’ve been to a few charming charlies and I think this one has been my favorite. I have had the best luck coming here and getting good deals. The clearance selection at this location is outstanding. They have a great deal of things buy one get one free. Love this place.

If you ever need an accessory in a specific color, you will find it at Charming Charlies. The store is organized by color which makes it very easy to find whatever you may be looking for including purses, jewelry, shoes, and clothes.
Everything is kind of cheaply made but it’s also inexpensive. The point is to buy those trendy items here that you don’t want to use more than a few times or one season. Think jewelry for weddings/​proms/​parties, funky prints, and sun glasses you know you’ll lose.

I love this place. This store is unique becuase it is organized by color. They keep up to date styles. They carry shoes, accessories and clothing. They sizes are limited as well as the variety of clothing. They also carry really cute rainboots, if that’s your thing. They are always helpful at this store. Often times when I get overwhelmed in this store because there are so many choices, the sales associate will help me put jewelry pieces together that will look nice.
Overall, this is a neat little store. This location is small so avoid peak hours if you want to really have time to look.

What a neat place! I am visiting this area all week, staying with my in-​laws and can’t believe how much this city has grown. The first time I came out here was twelve years ago when the coolest thing was Bennigans… lolz. But now you’ve got all the big box stores, and boutiques too (Francescas across the shop is cute) but most carry the same things over and over again. Find a bracelet in one store, you go two stores down and they have it there, too.
What’s kind of cool about Charming Charlie is it’s GIGANTIC. That bracelet you found in three stores will be there, too… but it will be in like ten different colors, and with a matching pair of earings and purse.
It took my mom-​in-​law and I about two hours to go through this whole place. We started at orange and ended with blue (like I said, everything is color coordinated).
I didn’t get everything I needed because it was just getting too freaking hot. We picked a terrible time to come out to Texas… Tornado warnings, sirens, heat index through the roof, rain… but the next day was much cooler. I dragged hubby out with me to go back and get a pair of beaded flip flops that caught my eye. He was in OCD heaven — color coordinated anything makes him feel all zen and crap. :)
The other thing I liked about Charming Charlies is that they had XL, which my bewbies are… well… giant, so a small back, small waist, big bewbies mean that I am an odd fit in ANY clothing retailer’s eyes.
I was able to try on and fit into sun dresses and shirts which never happens at places like this. Plus I was able to accessorize it with a matching colored necklace.
The stuff is pretty cheap, and a couple necklaces I tried on were already losing color on my skin due to the humidity, but I guess that’s the price you pay for cheap — so don’t think you’re taking home lifetime pieces of jewlery… but for seven bucks, I’ll live.
Then one of the sales staff told me she was from Moorpark in CA, and that they were opening a CC at the T.O. mall! Yay for close by!!!
+ 1 Point for price, picking up necklaces for seven to fifteen bucks in almost any color and style is a huge bonus!
+ 1 for carrying XL in dresses and shirts (not all shirts and dresses tho)
+ 1 for ease of parking. This isn’t a highly populated place still.
+ 1 for pretty fashions, and open late.
— 1 for not carrying MORE XL and for some sales staff that were not willing to help find an XL for me (some were very helpful, some couldn’t have cared if you flew a kit)
