I have family in the area, and it’s sometimes easy (and cheaper than NYC) for me to drop off dry cleaning if I am visiting for the holidays. The owner is wonderfully kind and courteous, which makes me want to stay a customer alone.
The drycleaning itself seems great and well-​done. Jim was very kind and allowed my mother to pick up my dress without hassling her, after me only vaguely mentioning that «maybe I’ll ask my mother to pick it up for me» and another time, waiting patiently for me to return upstate 2 months later for the blazer that I had forgotten about. If that was all, I’d give it 5 stars.
However, a new blazer I dropped off had the buttons melted off… and then my wedding gown’s back (hidden) buttons also mysteriously were melted off and/​or fused together oddly. While Jim worked so hard on the dress to remove old food stains that I didn’t believe could be removed, the melted back buttons made it impossible to close the dress. So I feel like I need to remove 2 stars for those two items.
Jim was super gracious and offered to take each item back and fix the buttons, with no hesitation, but I am hesitant to drop off anything else with buttons. The blazer came back fine with new buttons and perfectly dry cleaned. I still have to pick up my wedding dress and examine it again, but it just cost me time.

I have been a customer of Bridgeview Cleaners for many years. Each visit, I’m greeted with a smile and courtesy. My clothes are always drycleaned well and are ready when I need them. I highly recommend Bridgeview Cleaners to anyone in need of drycleaning and laundering services.

One time I went in and had to get a suit ready for a wedding post haste– the owner went out of his way to get it done for me quickly, then refused to accept a tip for his services.
Another time I went in to have my blazer done (for $ 6.75) — it had been previously dry cleaned poorly and had a bad fold in it, but it came back perfect.
Every time I go in, I’m greeted with a smile and familiarity although I’ve only been there four times.
