I don’t know why such bad reviews. Sounds like a lot of trivial stuff. The food is good. The staff is friendly and helpful. I dined inside so I can’t comment on the drive thru service. I’d rather have food that’s prepared fresh daily rather than pre-made ribs that are just warmed up. Lastly who goes to a restaurant right before they close expecting the same service they can get at least an hour before close, have a little common sense. Go there. Try it. Let your tastebuds be the judge.

I like the pulled pork sandwich, sometimes it’s a little dry, but overall it’s good. The sauce is good. My daughter loves the waffle fries. The staff is always friendly. The prices are about the same as other BBQ places in my area.

My husband and I both usually love Dickey’s BBQ, and have been to a few locations. We loved the one that used to be down the road that closed. We went on a Tuesday evening, at 7:15 pm and was told by the guy behind the counter that they were out of Ribs, which was crazy! The really odd thing is that we went to this same place about a month prior to this, but we showed up later in the evening, probably about 30 minutes before they close, and everything we ordered, they said they were out of it. I think at that time, I settled for the pulled pork. The guy behind the counter told us that it takes 3 hours to cook their ribs, which is not my problem, that is the managements problem for not planning ahead. Tuesday is the special 3 rib platter day, you prepare to sell and cook more for that day. I think someone is not doing their job at this place, and the company is losing lots of money. This is very sad, since we usually love Dickey’s, and it’s the closest location to us. I will never go there again.

Pretty clean place. I been going their for about 2 years now. Sucks they closed St John location also on the same road. Has a drive through. Bathrooms are ok. Lighting is amble. Temperature is always comfortable. Kid friendly with high chairs. Tv’s also. Tons of parking even a semi could park. I always get the two meat with two sides. It runs about $ 8 — $ 12.Only $ 2 for exactly double the meat, so you can try it all. It gives me more then enough to take home for a second meal. Their meats are always good and hot. Meats are always in a warmer right in front. They prepare it in front of you. I love their baked potato casserole and free ice scream(it’s a special formula for them). They will even give you a sample of any meats just ask. Beef brisket is good. Their sauces are always kept hot. Sides are always a lot. Beats Bombers in Munster with more food and sides. Want cheap untasty food try Taco Bell. Get what you pay for. Real wood, meat and hours of cooking does cost. I like this place as much as The Pit in Hickory Hills. You have Wicker Park next door with a tunnel under the street to walk it off or walk from the park.

Terrible food… high price low quality food… food was cold as soon as I got it and the meat was very dry. This location doesn’t match the other locations by no means. Stay far away from this location as you can.
