Can only comment on the swimming pool area… didn’t check out the rest of the place. First, the website is just the worst! There are no pictures on the website at all. Not one. I had to check out pics of the pool on Unilocal. The only place I could find prices was on Unilocal too. Overall, the website was absolutely useless. So I went to Facebook. No FB site at all, other than the auto generated ones made by FB. No pics or info on it either. So, I called…4 times. Got an answering machine the first 3 times, which referred me to the worthless website for information. On the 4th call I got a polite human who answered all of my questions. The swimming area consisted of a small under-8 area, a very small lazy river, 1 big water slide, and 3 lanes for laps. It was just ok. We had fun, but it’s not anything close to a Great Wolf Lodge, if you were trying to compare. Cost was $ 22 for a family pass.

It’s a great facility but it’s much too expensive if you live on the wrong side of the city limits line which we do. We bought a family membership for the two of us(we are allowed 5 in the family and as a childless couple, we STILL had to buy the family plan) and they wouldn’t let my mother work out when she was visiting from FL for 2 weeks – they charged her $ 5 a day! We took our annual membership fee and bought a Bally elliptical machine with it instead of buying another«family» membership and we are currently $ 5300.00 ahead after 5 years of saving the membership cost, and with gas nipping $ 4 a gallon we don’t have to drive anywhere. With our savings we bought a big fan and a high def TV so we can work out in comfort and we’re using the rest of our savings for a cruise.

This is one of the best planned and thought out fitness centers I have ever been in. The swimming area is just amazing. There is a hot tub, a toddler sections, a lazy river, a whirlpool, a two story indoor water slide and lap lanes. Of course they have all the regular fitness center work out equipment, classes. I love the indoor elevated walking track that is above the basketball court. Kudos for making the most of your space and giving the community a great rec center! The only negative is that its a big on the expensive side, especially if you aren’t a Highland resident.
