Pizza was ok for the area, but could have been cooked a bit longer.

This is my neighborhood pizza spot. The pizza consistently good. My favorite item is the veggie pizza. It is really loaded with tasty well seasoned veggies. However their prices are bit on the high side. That specialty large veggie pizza is $ 25!

The wings are good here. They give you plenty of celery and a large amount of blue cheese. The chicken Parm sub on the other hand was dry and needed way more sauce and very little cheese. Mostly a deep fried chicken cutlet sandwich with a smidgen of parm. I was upset about that. The place was clean so I’m not sure what that one review was talking about. Smelled clean and looked clean and I’m a neat freak so I notice the small stuff. The man behind the counter is very polite. Older Italian gentleman I think. I will try it here again but next time I’ll ask for heavy cheese and sauce. They have free delivery too so that’s a plus. The garlic Knots and silicon pie on the counter looked good. Maybe that’s next times choice

In general the food is average and it is too expensive so I go to other places with better food. However, should you want a chicken, bacon, ranch pizza(no red sauce.) This is THEBEST we have found. It is just amazing!

Don’t judge a book by its cover. This place looks abit like a dive but food is solid four stars. Had pizza which was decent. Subs are good as well.

I go here weekly and the food is pretty good. Their pasta dishes are excellent, and you can tell they are homemade since the taste changes each week(they’ll throw different things each time, which is pretty cool). Unfortunately, the price also changes too. If their staff ring you up, it’s one price. If Joe rings you up, it’s a higher one. He once charged me $ 18 for penne a la vodka and the other woman charges $ 15. I think it would help if they just created a menu so this does not happen.

Best Italian combo I have had in years. Since moving to clintondale a week ago, we’ve gotten takeout from them three times and their pizza is also quite good.

This review is being written strictly for the take-out and delivery service, as well as the and quality and taste of the food. I have not dined in the restaurant area of P.F. And yes, it is true that the little deli/pizzeria area is antiquated and a little run-down looking(as per the earlier reviews), but it seems clean to me from what I can see. I had to use the little bathroom once while I was waiting and it was totally clean as well. Each and every time that I have stopped in to get take-out or have placed a telephone order for delivery, the staff has been prompt and friendly. Joe, the owner, is almost always there with his staff. Often times teenagers tend not to display the greatest personalities at their places of employment, but all of the teens I’ve dealt with at Piccolo Fiore have been good kids with seemingly hard work ethics and pleasant attitudes, showing appreciation for the customers in person and over the phone. The pizza sauce is fantastic and I LOVE how P.F. uses FRESH mushrooms in their dishes, as opposed to the rubbery, fake-tasting canned ones. Their garlic knots, pinwheels, various pizzas and submarine deli and breakfast sandwiches have been consistently very tasty, hot and fresh over the years that I’ve been a customer there.

Below par food, filthy facility, and terrible and very rude service. We used to go here for dinner, and the service was slow and the food was ok, but it was was of the only places locally that we could go for an Italian dinner. We also used to order pizza for delivery(which is cooked in a conveyor belt style toaster like oven, not fresh from a real pizza oven), but never ordered again after we politely asked what time we could expect our delivery, and the girl on the other side of the phone said, «How am I supposed to know, I don’t make the pizza, and I don’t deliver it.» So rude! Avoid this place like the plague.

What can I say… It’s in the middle of nowhere and even though it was fairly new, looks like it was decorated in 1979. Kind of reminded me of my Italian grandmother’s basement. The food was decent but nothing extravagent. Prices were reasonable. The lack of a liquor license was a rude awakening as we all wanted some wine with our meal. A very attractive, young, Mexican woman was our server and she certainly made up for the lack of stars for food with her appearance and friendliness. She started us with a complementary appetizer of antipasta that was great. Then bread which was good as well. I had the signature dish and wasn’t blown away although I did think it was an interesting spin to have chicken marsala with peppers and onions along with the mushrooms. As I said, it was good, but nothing phenomenal. I’d probably go back to try something different and hope that maybe we caught them on an off night. I will be bringing my own bottles of wine this time though.
