We have had a great experience renting through Sentinel Management Group. Any and all service requests have been handled promptly and professionally. I have appreciated the quick response time when we have needed anything from Kathleen and her team. They have gone above and beyond for us, as renters. Thank you!

Update — just received an email from someone claiming to be Sentinel’s lawyer. We are being threatened with a «potential lawsuit»(according to the subject line of the email) for defamation… can you believe that? I’ll keep everyone updated(as well as our review) but I would think this should serve as warning to ANYONE considering doing business with Sentinel. If you don’t like their service and leave an honest review — you’ll be sued. Wow — I guess we can add classy(personal description from my experience — not to be construed as a default experience other people) to the list of adjectives that describe this company.

Dear Brad and Teresa Mandala, This post surprises us. We managed your property for two years, and this is the first time hearing you are unhappy with us. We know this negative post was because you are six months past due on an outstanding invoice, and you do not want to pay us. This bill was for work you asked us to do in your behalf. It is sad you would go to this extent of making completely false accusations to hurt us, and hurt our business, just to try to get out of paying a bill. We are sorry you could not post all the positive things we did and how we met all of our contractual obligations, and went above and beyond for you time and time again. During the two-years we managed your home we did the following: 1) Place qualified tenants in your property who were NEVERLATEONRENT. 2) The tenants took EXCELLLENTCARE of your property, which we inspected on a regular basis. 3) We processed the rent received in a timely manner every month, and NEVERONCE missed a rental disbursement to you. 4) We fielded many service requests, and communicated to you within hours of each service request that came in. In addition, we responded to two emergencies on your home. We did not always hear back from you right away, but always reached out to you to get your approval. Even on emergencies we called and emailed you right away, but at the same time got someone out immediately to avoid damage to the property. We went back and counted 73 emails in a two year period, all part of communicating to you things pertaining to your property. 5) You came to us and asked us to sell your home for you. We offered you a REDUCEDCOMISSION. 6) We negotiated for that tenant to stay while we marketed the home for sale, so you could have INCOMECOMINGIN while the home was for sale. 7) We sold and closed the house at a HIGHMARKETPRICEINUNDER60DAYS, with a tenant in the home. We took care of the entire move out and escrow. You did not have to do anything except sign closing paperwork. You did not have to do any other repairs to the home. We negotiated for the tenant and or the new buyer to pick up those expenses. We made sure it was a VERYSMOOTHESCROW. 8) When you asked us to sell the home you thought you needed to replace carpeting throughout the home, and repaint the house. You acknowledged the carpet was in bad shape before the tenants moved in. I inspected the home and recommend to you we deep clean the carpets, and it was not necessary to repaint the house to sell it. It turned out we were able to have an independent contractor clean the carpets good enough to save you from replacing the carpets, and we did not need to paint the house to sell it. WESAVEDYOUTHOUSANDSOFDOLLARS. 9) We only hire licensed, insured, and well-experienced independent contractors. THECONTRACTORSWEUSEARENOTONPAYROLL. They have years of experience and a excellent track record with us. They are honest, reliable and go through a lengthy vetting process with us. They have done thousands of jobs for hundreds of owners who are happy with their service and ours. 10) We saved you money on your water heater, close to $ 1000. When the independent contractor first responded to the emergency call for water flooding in the home due to a leaking water heater we had someone out immediately to stop flooding water. The contractor first thought they would have to replace the water heater. When they looked closer they were able to repair it instead of replace it. They were honest about this and this saved you money. We responded quickly so the house did not flood from the water heater leaking. AGAIN, WESAVEDYOUTHOUSANDSOFDOLLARS. It is unfortunate that you are so unhappy with us. We truly went out of our way for you and could not have done anything better. We pride ourselves in taking excellent care of our clients and their properties. We understand you do not want to pay an outstanding invoice for work you asked us to do on your home, specifically the $ 400 carpet cleaning. We hope you will pay us what you owe us. I am sorry you cannot see the all the good we have done for you, money we have made for you, and saved you, by taking such good care of your property, and then selling it for you. You definitely came out ahead, and we saved you THOUSANDSOFDOLLARS in just a two-year period. We truly apologize after all we have done we could not make you happy.
