Total teen hangout. We are mid 40’s and feel very old. The kids working behind the counter are young. I thought Justin Bieber from 5 years ago was serving. My wife was begging me to go and I had to stay for the enjoyment. This is a joke, wow!

It was a nice surprise to go and get a 99 cent like it cup of ice cream on Mother’s Day. I personally feel that cold stone is overpriced for ice cream(like it with one mix in $ 5). Even though I love a good sweet cream once in a while.

This place is absolutely filthy. And milk, sugar, and light aren’t the best if you don’t want to grow bacteria in your food prep area. If they can’t keep the place clean, stock napkins, and clean the walls, I doubt they clean the back with any level of detail or diligence.

Out of red velvet, out of chocolate covered pretzels, that’s four I’d their choices for cones. They don’t have napkins at both registers, they didn’t sing when we tipped, place was very dirty.

I was frustrated with the service of the teens working here. I took the four kids I was babysitting here for some ice cream, and it ended up taking over 20 minutes to place our order, and there was only one person ahead of us. When the girls finally started taking our order, they were very snarky and unhelpful.

Of course the ice cream is good — it’s Cold Stone. The problem is that the store is filthy. Not messy, truly filthy. Dirty finger prints everywhere, tabletops are never wiped, the drinking fountain had a scum all over it on Saturday, the floor is grimey all the time. And this filthiness is constant, not just one time when we’ve been there. My husband’s response to me pointing out the filth was«it’s all teenagers who work there so what do you expect?» Correct, but it’s not a teenager who owns/operates the place. I cannot imagine that they are passing their health inspections.

Ice cream is good as always but service at this location is terrible. Line of 7 people with one person working the orders and register at 6:30pm. Really? Half our order was melting by the time we had to pay. Pick up the slack it isn’t fair for one person to do it all.

The few times I tried this location over the summer I wasn’t overly impressed with the service. It was a bunch of teenagers working there who always seemed to have friends visiting and talking to them while I was trying to order. Now I don’t want to sound like«get off my lawn» guy but this happened on multiple occasions. I know you can have good teenage employees as well(see Chick-Fil-A) so nothing against them as a whole. Additionally, Cold Stone has really good ice-cream but definitely the priciest. I’ll stick with buying Ben & Jerry’s or going elsewhere.

I more recently tried to order a smoothie(thought it would be a bit healthier than their ice cream options), but they didn’t have the bananas for it. Strike one. Then tried to order another smoothie(this time one without bananas) and they told me they only had the ingredients to make the smoothies that used splenda. Strike two. I didn’t give them a strike three. In my humble opinion, they already were«out» with me. I gave up and just had an ice water. Also, it is way too pricey. You could get a half gallon of great ice cream for the cost of their small«like it» portion. But my kids like it. I think their fav is the sweet cream with brownie putins. I personally am not so hot on it(obviously), but I take one for the team and go for my kids. Sigh.
