Very cool. This is where Comic-Conners go the other 362 days of the year. Coffee, comics, card games, puzzles, collectibles, books, generally cool finds. They have spider-man uno cards. You bet I bought em. The people are friendly. There are a decent amount of outlets. Free wifi. Adult men playing Dungeon and Dragon-esque games and you can tell they’re here a lot. There should be more of these places.

How freaky… Unilocal offered up the option for me to review this place. How did they know I was there!?! Anyway… Yes I have been here and I did enjoy my visit. The place was good for working but be prepared to have your nerd(meant kindly) blockers on. It makes me smile to remember my visit There was a couple 20+ year old role-gamers there. These dudes must have spent hundreds of dollars on their gaming hobby/habit. Like«holy-get-a-job-batman.» Yammer has a face. Then there was a group nice kids(14 – 17?) playing card games or what ever they had going on. This place is unique in that it has a comic and gaming theme to it. Unique in my experience. This is not starbucks. Nice place, good enough food, and interesting clientele. This is not a «punk» scene at all just different as coffee shops should be. I wish the business owners well. Yes I would go back and I am glad I visited.

I love this place! I’m not really into card games, role playing games, or any of the other fantasy type things they sell, but the coffee is great and I always love browsing around when I stop in for a drink. I’ve bought a couple books and a board game from here on impulse, but mostly I come in for the coffee. The vibe in here is really fun!

Very cool coffee shop! Solid prices and cool atmosphere with tables for chatting and quiet time and also larger tables for games and cards. Also carry energy drinks that I haven’t seen in a while such as Bawls. You’ll feel like a nerd/geek being here since they have a lot of comic books, action figures and board games to keep you occupied. Then you realize how cool nerds & geeks are cause you’ll be like a little kid having light saber duels and coordinated takeovers with games such as RISK and battleship. Plus there are lots of comic books with a huge batman following. That’s cool with me since batman is one of my favorite superheroes. For the action figures you can find just about any character from Star Wars and Dungeons & Dragons. It’s a cool shop with a nerdy staff that doesn’t take life seriously and they have regulars who are the same. Friendly with their service and knowledgeable about the fantasy world we grew up in. Don’t be surprised if you wind up dueling with them to save the princess!

Coffee and games, what a cool concept! EG is a fun and unusual hybrid, combining a coffee shop with gaming and collectables. The coffee is pretty good. My first, and thus far only, selection(Tiramisu Mocha) proved tasty. I’d rank it above average. Perhaps it just wasn’t my flavor for coffee drink but it sounded so intriguing. On the gaming side of things, they had a very solid array of card games, RPGs, dice, miniatures and board games. In all forthrightness, there may be a few categories I’ve overlooked. Their inventory is a lot to take in while waiting for a drink. Suffice it to say, if any non-video gaming is in your wheelhouse, this is probably a(if not THE) place to go. The employees are friendly and the space ample for spreading out a few textbooks to research a paper or sit across from an opponent with a deck of MTG cards for a rousing game. I really dig the concept of this enterprise. Though the coffee didn’t wow me, it was good enough that I want to give them another go to support this neat niche business.

Wow — 1 star for the coffee(note — at any coffee place, if they ask you if you want a dry cappuccino, and you’re getting it in a real cup, cancel your order and just get coffee, because you’re going to get espresso with 4″ of frothywhippyfoamystuff on top of it if you don’t). Add one star for the cool candy bars at the register — the dark chocolate was good. Add two stars for the cool concept — game shop and coffee shop — they had a lot of people hanging out, playing games. How cool is that? Would be a cool place to come and hang out and play games(and buy new games to play). Add another start if you’re a comic book fan. Add another star because there are electrical outlets everywhere(thank you!) Then deduct 3 stars because… the coffee sucks. If they fix the coffee, this place could be a 6 star place.

Wonderful place to meet with friends, get some coffee and a treat, and play some games. I got four of my friends into Magic here, played my first D&D game here, and have had more pleasant conversations with friends here than I can count. I couldn’t recommend it more!(The coffee does take a while to be made, though, just as a warning to those who are in a rush. This is definitely a sit-down place!)

They opened up another Enchanted Grounds near Bowles and Platte Canyon in Littleton. The differ by kinds of coffee are excellent and they make some mean sandwiches. The also have a game room and lots of books to read. Lots a very laid back place with wifi.

They are well-stocked and have a friendly staff. The coffee is great, and they have a pretty good selection of snack-type-foods(sandwiches, cookies, pastries, etc.). My single complaint is that, during high-traffic times, they tend to run out of tables. I tend to go for paint, though, when I run out or need a color I don’t have, so that usually doesn’t bother me much.(They’re a game store, too! What’s not to love?)

So excited to have come across this place! Good coffee + game shop, with plenty of room for sitting down and game playing with friends(or strangers!) Service was friendly, and coffee was good. They’ve got a full schedule of game nights – might have to sign my husband up!

Gaming, comics, coffee and food, why would I need to leave? Enchanted grounds is an awesome location should you be the pen and paper role playing type. Along with having all the books, accessories, etc that you might need for a gaming session, they also host events(Wednesday nights are Adventure’s League for Dungeons and Dragons, along with a Saturday or two per month) where if you don’t have a regular game to play are a great way to get into it, or get back into it. The food is definitely acceptable, but is coffee shop fare(the toasted sandwiches are lovely though). The community within the shop is surprisingly friendly(in other gaming shops I have experienced looks from the regulars as though I did not belong) and a real joy to be around. People are(as people often are) very excited about what they enjoy and generally willing to help people understand why what they enjoy is as awesome as they feel it is. A great place to spend a weeknight evening gaming, or pick up a gaming supply that you can’t wait for shipping for.

I’m not a fantasy gamer or even know what point totals are on 20 sided dice, but I do know good coffee and espresso. I love coming to this place, big fan of checking out gamers deep in fantasy land! Lando Latte please! That’s not the name of the latte, but I think it is a character in Star Wars. Just messing with you EG! This place kicks ass and I think I get those who play WOW or D&D! Trek on and give this place a try, a hidden Zelda Gem! Okay, that’s all the gamer shit I know.

I had heard that game cafés existed but never visited one. I had visions of spending a leisurely afternoon sprawled out over a nice meaty game of Agricola or something, but as a visitor to the city with limited bag space to purchase, we were going to be limited to playing their demo stock. Which as we were very sad to discover was limited mostly to fluffy take that munchkinesque games and not a meaty Euro to be seen. They do sell some of these but with no room to carry one back on the plane we ended up just taking our coffee to go. They do have a number of tables and a better-than-Barnes&Noble board game selection but for a real hard core gamer couple like us with over 200 games in our collection there were only a couple titles we would have considered even having the space. Still, I love the idea of having a place you can bring your games to play and enjoy some good coffee, and I am sure for more casual gamers their open game selection might be more appealing. The space is clean and the staff was friendly, so I can’t ding them too hard for catering to a more fluffy gaming crowd.

The workers here are very friendly and are very good about making you feel welcomed there. They have a variety of coffee options with some food options as well(burritos, muffins, cookies, etc.) Tons of people come here to buy/play board games, chess, magic cards, you name it. It’s pretty geektastic here and a perfect place to bust out your Pokemon cards in a friendly competition. I however came here to study and was able to do that too because the volume of the patrons wasn’t too loud and there were plenty of tables. Plus, parking is easy.

Out of all the coffee places we have been trying, this one has been the worst. The coffee they serve is a special blend from Coda called the enchanted blend. Ugh. it is not so good. The customer service is even worse. There was no *real* attempt to try to correct a situation for an unsatisfied customer. I had high expectations due to such a high rating… wow, what a total disappointment! Maybe it was just the person working that set the tone for our visit, but unfortunately we are likely not going to return to find out. The vibe was a bit off too. If you are a gamer, perhaps you will enjoy your time here… lots of tables and stuff for sale… little action figures, comic books, and boxed games… but if you come here for the coffee, buyer beware. Looking around at other customers who are here, only 2 other people out of 15 appear to have even gotten coffee! Yikes. 2 stars instead of 1 cause they have organic Coda and keep the cream refrigerated. Yea!
