Panera Bread

This place is dirty. Dirty floors, dirty tables, dirty seats and even dirty silverware. Not sure how this place stays in business and why they’ve never heard of a broom. Gross!

What a mess.
We stopped on Sunday at around 12:30.
One serving line open.
The entire restaurant has tables that had not been cleaned.
Dirty.
Poor service.
The food was pretty good. We were starved so we stayed.
This store really needs a good manager.
Or any manager at all.
What a disappointment.

I came here for the very first time on Monday for lunch. It was right around 12.30 so there was a short wait but nothing too bad.
The cashier wasn’t very friendly but the guy who couldn’t pronounce my name when calling my order was nice.
I get why no one tells you where to go or how the system works, unless you announce that «I don’t know what I’m doing here» there’s no big sign telling you where to pick your order up from & it’s presumed that everyone knows already but I worked it out pretty easily.
I had half a bbq chicken salad & a turkey & cranberry flatbread for just over $ 10. They also came with another piece of bread on the side. I forgot to ask for the salad dressing on the side & I won’t forget next time, it was a nice dressing but there was too much of it for me. I was a little surprised that the flatbread didn’t have salad on it, pretty much just turkey & cranberry but it was still nice

Horrible lines, 30 minutes to get a bowl of soup. What a complete mess. This place needs to be cleaned out and new management to be brought in.

This panera was extremely disappointing. Coffees were 3 hours old, not one not two, but three. As a former panera employee, I was shocked to find that the coffee was expired. When I asked them to brew a new batch they didn’t bother to test whether there were coffee grounds within the new batch. Had a lovely mouthful of grounds. Very disappointing.

I love Panera bread. I really do! Have been here quite a few times since its across the street I work. But I don’t think I will visit this location again. Always understaffed, out of stuff, and not very courteous to guests. I went to grab breakfast and was in line for 15 minutes. By the time my turn came, it was past 11 am, and the lady at the cash counter looked and me and said «I’m just standing here, we are out of breakfast». Funny part was I could still see a ton of Souffles. If they did not want to serve after 11 am, just let the customers know the line is closed. I would definitely not waste my precious time waiting in line in here again. I’d rather just eat at Pei Wei or Einstein Bagels around this area! Always very very courteous and no lines !

Very good paninis for a pretty good price as long as you don’t buy a drink, quick and impressive for a chain lunch restaurant.

This Panera is okay at best. I was unaware Panera had franchisee’s until I contacted corporate about my experience.
I went in on a Saturday for breakfast. I gave them our Panera number which is tied to my wife’s name. After waiting 10-​minutes, I asked if my order would be ready soon. They said they gave it to a lady that said she was Barbara. Without apology, they said they would remake my order.
After another 8-​minute wait, I checked in to see the status of my ‘remade’ order. They totally forgot to remake it!?! FAIL Even a fellow customer waiting felt sorry for me and my son, making a comment about what he saw go down.
Corporate offered nothing but saying they would notify the location. So, if you are a custom to great customer service and consistency… skip this location.

«Rapid pick-​up» — not so much. Arrived 10 mins after my food was supposed to be ready & it wasn’t out at the rapid pick-​up shelf. Turns out they lost my ticket and just had it sitting on the main counter but said the order was for a different name. Not a very efficient system here today. My turkey & cranberry flatbread was cold and soggy, and the sandwich had two tiny bits of turkey on it. This is not like other Paneras I’ve visited.

Panera Bread is definitely one of the better fast food chains out there. The food is always pretty solid and doesn’t taste super processed. From each Panera Bread to the next, the quality of food is very similar. I’m always a fan of the menu items listed. For a fast chain bakery type place, the bread and bakery goods are actually quite tasty. At this specific Panera Bread, there is a female cashier who is really nice. But, I haven’t had a bad service here in general. Also, I think that having tables next to the fire place is a nice touch. This Panera has a nice vibe and it’s a great meeting spot to have a quick meal with a friend in the Highlands Ranch area.

Simple, unassuming foods. Panera recently announced its new food policy to remove artificial additives from its menu by the end of 2016 (come on kids, let’s do it by the end of this year — or 2015 at the latest). Anyways, I’ve always been happy with the food quality, price point, cleanliness, and efficiency of this Panera. I think this is a great place to take friends and family alike, and there are some tables outside to enjoy your food while the weather is so nice.
Very nice staff too. Oh, and sign up for the rewards card (it’s free), but I usually don’t get rewards that often… only when I had just signed up and randomly throughout the year (maybe 1 – 2 times a year, excluding a free birthday pastry). If you haven’t tried Panera, they have a wonderful selection of sandwiches, soups, and salads. It’s hard for me each time choose what I want because… there are so many great options! Oh, and the bagels — yum. Chocolate chip… everything…sesame…my favorites. Oh, don’t forget to add a cookie. OK clearly I’m hungry while I’m typing this out.

Food is good, service is fast. A little on the pricey side.

Panera is one of our favorite mid-​day stops between errand running and we always seem to find the perfect nibble there.
I appreciate the fact that Panera has made an effort to purchase and provide antibiotic free chicken, and that they make everything to order. I much prefer this to fast food with god knows what ingredients.
The kids enjoy the enormous, fresh baked cookies and smoothies. I enjoy that this lunch won’t break the bank in terms of calories or cash.

I do always like a Panera lunch; this location in Highlands Ranch is always packed full of moms and their kids, professionals on their lunch hour and retirees, so tables are usually few and far between. Not everyone cleans up after themselves either. But, nevertheless, I do enjoy soup in a bread bowl and their «you pick two» and typically get a salad to go with that yummy soup. It’s a nice place to chill if you can time your arrival right but this is one of the busier locations.

I’ve only been to Penera once, and i thought the food was great. I got a half sandwich and soup, it was delicious and fast. The HS crowd came in after me, thank goodness, but it got packed fast.
The staff was nice and helpful. Will be back again!

I love studying at Panera bread. I prefer it over Starbucks just because the food tastes better, and they have coffee so a double score. My favorite is the artichoke sandwich, their veggie pesto soup, and even the simple turkey sandwich is delish.
My problem with this location is that it could gets realllyyy cold, I think they keep the AC on at around 65 degrees is what I’m guessing, (perfect temperature when walking around, not so much when sitting in one location for a few hours) so basically, my hands would be freezing as I type on my laptop. I would either have to leave after an hr or so, or had to keep coming back for more hot chocolate, soup or lattes (so maybe they are purposely keeping it cold for this reason). Im always angry at myself for forgetting to bring gloves, so I will probably do that next time.
Another thing is that it could get insanely busy at 6pm, families come here with their kids and have their family dinners at this location, which makes it a little less than desirable to be here for studying or reading a good book, or even relaxing for that matter. Although I could block out loud sounds such as side conversations, coffee grinding, intercoms, etc… One of the few sounds that I CAN’T block is the sound of kids screaming and babies crying at the top of their lungs. Even when i’m wearing my headphones, i could hear the sound of babies screaming pierce through my ears.
All-​in-​all, i still love Panera bread, but I probably will need to look for another Panera bread location that is not so baby oriented… Or come at different times.

It’s a Panera… used what was left of a free gift card to get a filling bagel sandwich with cherry pastry and Diet Pepsi. If you like Panera, you will like this one. Clientele a bit too Stepford Wife-​ish for me but that was probably because a large group of the most Caucasian church goers I have ever seen filled up the place as we ate. Colorado Springs must have been missing about 30 people that day :)

Free wifi, good coffee, fire place
When a need a place to go do work in the burbs, this place works great.
I love that the noise level never gets near what the starbucks across way can get to. You can do work, enjoy a cup of coffee, lunch, snack etc.
Staff is relatively friendly and leaves you alone.
Parking can get full, even for a strip mall, but plenty of seating.

I love Panera. Really, I do. I grew up on Panera. But I have to say this specific location is one of the worst I’ve been to. The restaurant is not as clean as it should be (don’t even think about using the bathrooms). I would say one out of every four to-​go orders I make there are put in the bag wrong. I’ve arrived home with my meal several times only to find they forgot an entire part of my meal. A Fuji Apple CHICKEN salad with NO CHICKEN? Really?! This has happened twice! They also get the dressings for salads mixed up quite a bit and include the wrong sides. I’ve learned to check my order before leaving the restaurant.
While I’ve had a lot of problems with to-​go orders, I’ve only had one or two issues with orders for eating in the restaurant.

By about 2pm earlier today, I had determined that if I did not finally try a Fuji Apple Salad (as advertised by Panera Bread) I was going to go postal. Opting for the safest course of action for all involved, I decided to stop at this Panera Bread near University and Highlands Ranch Parkway to fulfill my need on the way to pick up my midgets.
The restaurant itself is your typical Panera venue… cozy, warm colors, a good mix of café and eatery. I was very thankful for the comfy leather chair I was able to sink into as I was post-​workout and near exhausted from a full day of being on my feet.
I ordered the following: an iced mocha latte, the fuji apple salad, and a slice of very chocolate brownie (I figured I could use the sugar and the treat since I was bound to take care of the kids myself tonight). I received the brownie right away, and the coffee soon after. The teens behind the counter didn’t seem overly concerned with getting my salad prepped very quickly, and perhaps I didn’t hear them call my name when it was finally done — regardless, I had to come back to the counter to check on my salad’s status and pick it up for consumption.
The salad — AWESOME. I think raisins would have been the only addition to really send it over the top, but it didn’t disappoint.
The coffee — meh. The «barista» didn’t even stir in the chocolate syrup but let it all sink to the bottom of the cup, so I had to mix it up to avoid 2 gulps of pure fructose at the start. Maybe a better prep would’ve gone over well with me.
The brownie — also meh. Don’t get me wrong; I adore chocolate. But this just didn’t send me over the moon like other decadent chocolate delights have. I wouldn’t even call it «Very Chocolate Brownie,» so instead I’ll redub it «Very Dark Brownie.»
For the price of all of these items (just over $ 13) I think they could’ve impressed me more. Panera has never been a frequent haunt of mine, and today decided me that it never will be. Rather, it’ll be more like a ship I occasionally pass in the night … or when I really need some fuji apple salad.
