Xtend Barre

Fantastic work out, fabulous instructors, and a great energy! Also the studio is so clean! Xtend Barre is hands down the best studio I’ve tried in the greater Denver area.

I found Xtend through a Groupon offer, wanting to find something to get me motivated to work out. At sign-​up April was super helpful in answering all my questions and getting me ready for the first class. She prepped for what to expect with the first class and therafter. After a few classes I was totally hooked.
Every instructor has amazing positive energy and lead you through class with motivation and corrections on position. They give personal attention to every member of class, before, during and after. I love how every instructor does things slightly differently and every week I feel my body is being worked a different way. They play music during class that helps you move with the beat.
Classes are tough at first but get easier with each time you go. Because I was a figure skater the barre method is fun for me to channel my younger self. NO dance/​ballet skills needed though! You learn as you go and become familiar with all the moves within two classes.
It’s a smaller studio but every class I go to during the week has enough room to keep it personal feeling. Instructors know who you are and always greet you by name or introduce themselves to you if you’re new. They are all very knowledgeable about Barre and techniques.
The VIX membership allows me to go as many times as I want in a month and helps motivate me to keep attending and keep working my body.

Last summer I was looking for an alternative to heated yoga that would still keep me entertained, strong & toned. I ended up discovering barre workouts. After trying nearly all the barre studios in the area & a few online, I got lucky because my absolute favorite studio ended up being the closest to my home here in Highlands Ranch — Xtend Barre. This place is clean & new (no carpet) & has some of the most talented instructors around. So much positive energy here & the classes are really fun once you get the hang of it! A few caveats — these workouts are tough — so you may not be able to handle «doubles» right off the bat (something I use to love to do with yoga classes). Remember to sign up for classes ahead of time (especially for the special formats like TRX, yoga sculpt, roll & release) & arrive ~10 min early if you want a good spot. Also be sure you have quality grip socks. I’ve tried several brands & ended up preferring the regular «Xtend Barre» branded ones sold in the studio. April, the owner, is an absolute doll — so kind & personable, & also a quite talented instructor! So grateful to have found Xtend Barre!

Xtend Barre is fantastic!!! This is one of the best workouts I’ve ever done. It’s challenging and fun. You can see and feel the results. You can push yourself to your level and it never gets boring. I get so bored in a gym and have never found something that I really love doing until I found Xtend. I’ve been going there 9 months and still love it. I actually look forward to class. The owner and instructors are all great. Each one has her own style and they change up their routines. They really motivate and encourage you. I am so happy to have found such great people and such an amazing workout!

I just discovered barre classes and I absolutely love them! From day one, everyone was extremely welcoming. I’ve had a different instructor each time and they’re each unique and fun in their own way. They take the time to get to know you and the goals you have. I couldn’t have found a better place! A total bonus, I’m already seeing results after only a week and a half! :)

Xtend Barre is one of the best workouts; you can actually see the results from the workout, it’s fun, encouraging and enjoyable environment!

Love Xtend Barre! This is the best work out class ever! It’s like going to dance class and seeing your body change after just a few weeks! That has been the most amazing part of it all! I hate going to work out at the gym because I never get the results, but since joining Xtend Barre it’s like a healthy addiction and I’m loving it! Becky makes it fun and she is also so motivating! Everyone should try it!

Really great class and instructors! I had a great time and hope to keep coming back. Becky did a phenomenal job with differentiating her instruction for each person in the class. After having an injury xtend barre was just what I needed to get back into shape.

I really like this studio. The instructors are all knowledgeable and very friendly. The best part is that each class is different, but still works the same muscles (all of them)! The classes here are fantastic and reasonably priced. Five stars all around.

This is the BEST Barre studio I have ever been to! The classes are for all skill levels and the staff is very friendly and professional. Kelsey and April are amazing! I work as a radio personality and can’t wait to share this with my audience!

Xtend Barre Highlands Ranch is the best. The instructors are motivating and knowledgable. The classes are fun and effective. The music is great and the variety of movements keeps you from getting bored. I love the TRX classes as well as the Barre. I feel confident and positive after each class.

To start, let me just say I drive all the way from Aurora (Denver if I’m working) to Highlands Ranch just to go to this studio. The owner, instructors, and other members all make the drive more than worth it! The workouts are amazing and it’s fun, you cannot ask for more than that!

The best barre studio in the area! Love the place. Have taken classes with Becky and Kim. Both of them are fabulous. April is amazing too !! If I wasn’t moving to another city, I would have continued with them indefinitely. I would highly recommend them. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed :)

I found Xtend Barre through ClassPass, and absolutely loved it! I dropped my ClassPass membership, started going to Xtend Barre full time, and I am now a VIX member. April and all the other instructors are wonderful. They take time to help you during class and are more than willing to answer any questions on how to improve your form. I have seen wonderful results, and I am hooked! :)

This place is fantastic. It is unlike my usual Barre class (which is tuck, tuck, tuck, same moves over and over week after week). Each instructor choreographs their own class and even when you have the same instructor two days in a row new things are incorporated and it’s unlikely you’ll ever have the same exact workout twice.
My favorite things about Xtend is that they are reasonably priced, the instructors and owner know you by name and make you feel welcomed from the get go, and the workout is amazing (even though I may say to myself several times during the workout «what the h e double hockey sticks did you get yourself into), it really gets your heart thumping and your body shaking!
The only negative is I wish it was a little more central to Metro Denver, but it’s well worth the drive!

This is by far the best barre studio I have been to! The instructors are all different and mix things up for each class, it is a hard workout that works every part of your body. They know you by name and truly care about your experience. April, the owner, is adorable and is so good at what she does… If you haven’t tried Xtend Barre, now is the time!

I’ve been a ballet dancer all my life and this workout has proven the best way to train yet! I’ve been taking class a few days a week for about three weeks and I’ve already seen changes in my body. Best of all, my favorite jeans fit again. I’d recommend this workout to anyone!
