I was there Thanksgiving Eve day. It appears they now take Amex. There seafood is still great. But they definitely need to work on their customer/social skills. To the workers behind the counter… «Smiling doesn’t crack the face» and«Being friendly isn’t a sin».

Amazing and fresh seafood. Our go to place for shellfish as they have the best lobster around. This is the place we get all our Christmas Eve fish for our family. They make us fantastic platters of shrimp, lobster and crab claws with dipping sauces. Mussels marinara, clams casino, oysters, clams on the half shell… I think we have had everything. Never disappoints!

Great prices on lobster! Prices on other seafood varies, but if you call they are always patient and will help you out. They will even put your order in hold for you until you can get in. Their prices on steamer clams in the summer are great!

Line was out the door for Christmas Eve! They were very accommodating and offered everyone waiting in line cookies, candy canes, and hot chocolate. There was someone singing and playing piano outside the door. The service was amazing for the amount of customers(a lot!). I’ve gotten seafood from them many times in the past and it’s always fresh and never disappoints. I just wish I knew about their $ 5 off offer on Unilocal before I wrote this review!

Absolutely love this place. Fresh fish, friendly staff and good prices. You can’t get any Fisher than having the back of the store open up to the sea. Ask for a whole fish and watch them dissappear into the back and emerge with a great looking specimen. Fantastic price on lobster now so move it!

small, has a tendency to get crowded so avoid peak times. To the right as you enter is the cold case with shrimp and lobster salad. This is divine and worth the trip alone. Its bland as these items are to be expected and you can spice them up on your own which I do with some Lawry’s Lemon Pepper, some 5 Pepper Blend, a toasted buttered English muffin and that’s all she wrote. I couldnt get a 3lb female confirmation and it required a phone call the next morning to find out. Not a big deal but a little strange for a ‘lobster’ shop on the first day of summer. I was going to grab some crabcakes and crab filled items as they looked good but they didnt state what kind of crab it was… again strange for a ‘lobster’ shop. I asked ‘is it Maryland crab or Asian” she said«its not Maryland». I said I dont want it if its Asian and she said she would go in the back and find out. Not a big deal but again strange for a ‘lobster’ shop. She came out and killed the rest of the sale by being honest and telling me it was indeed Asian crab. Again not a big deal but strange for a ‘lobster’ shop. Stick with the phenomental lobster and shrimp salads, and really who needs more than this? a snappy cold Luna, head up to the Lighthouse, have a picnic and enjoy the view.

I am going to qualify this by telling you that I only come here for the Lobster salad. It is fresh, fairly priced($ 35 @ lb.), and only consists of large chunks of tail and knuckle meat. If you are looking for lobster salad I highly recommend it. In fact I saw this same salad go for twice the price in East Hampton, and, it looked old. I guess they are the cognoscenti out there so even crap tastes better. Give Lusty a try !
