Jorge’s Pizza

Excellent pizza, sub, and wings. Salads not as great as they might be. Prices are pretty reasonable. Establishment is clean and the staff is very friendly. MY go to for pizza every time.

This was my first visit to Jorge’s. The worker at the front was very friendly and helpful. She represents the restaurant well. The place looked clean and plenty of space.
My sub was maybe slightly above average but not enough to give it four stars. I asked for oil and vinegar, but I am pretty sure they put Italian dressing on it. The roll seemed just right by itself but the amount of dressing made it soggy by the time I made my 2 mile trip back to my office. The meat was good enough to make it four stars if everything else had been better.

I ate here the other day for the first time and got the fried fish sandwich, which was actually excellent! I noticed their prices were very reasonable, too.

Best pizza in the area. Quality food and prepared in a timely manner. The pizza we got today was perfect.

Anyone who sees my other reviews here knows I am a fan of pizza. I usually choose plain old cheese pizza as I like to taste pizza «in the flesh.» Jorges has good pizza. Not great pizza but very good I would say. It is usually my default choice if I cant find a pizza any better than it. There is no specific reason it is a good pizza. It just has the right mix of tastes and ingredients. This could change of course if they change suppliers. I do enjoy their crust a lot.
I have also had a veal parm sub here and a cheese steak with peperoni. Both were excellent and I loved the bread (like REALLY loved it). I will be back for more. I have also had the fries here which were surprisingly good, as not a lot of pizza joints have really good fries for some reason. I live within 5 miles of at least a dozen pizza places and so far none were any better than Jorges, so I keep returning for the consistency.
All the people who worked there so far have been super friendly and laid back. Most customers seem to get take out. There is adequate seating and easy parking if you want to eat in and it is clean and safe. They also serve beer to go but you have to ask for it and there is no obvious sign or menu about what kinds they carry or in what quantities. Guess you are to ask. That part is somewhat strange. Really that is about the biggest negative I could come up with so far.
As with most pizza, the taste is subjective, but this is my opinion of Jorges.

Best food in the middletown area. The fresh bread is incredible. Highly recommended. Fast service. Lots of beers to go. Good staff very friendly.

Pretty good subs. Nice location and nice friendly people. My boyfriend LOVES this place so I definitely recommend it.

best pizza i had in the harrisburg area. pretty good size and not terribly expensive.

This is a great place to get a slice of Pizza in Highspire. They put tons of cheese and toppings on the pizza, i always thought it was the greatest in the area. they dont deliver and only accept cash. prices are pretty reasonable compared with other pizza places.
