I love tanning here. There is one assistant that really stands out to me, Paige, probably by my second time their she already remembered my name and has been so friendly and outgoing. The rest of the staff is great too. I highly recommend this place.

Love coming here! The price of a membership is worth it for the service. Goggles in every bed so you don’t have to bring your own or buy them there. Huge location with lots of beds. Tons of pretty swim wear sold here as well! Paige, one of the girls who works here is such a sweetheart and always remembers everyone’s name which really makes you feel appreciated it! Love seeing her smiling face almost every time I’m there! :))

Not almost but a COMPLETE ripoff. Bait and switch. They get you to go there with a «free tan“coupon but it’s not all free, You get a choice of either an upgrade or a «free’ tan AFTER you pay an exorbitant amount to an acne pocked receptionist who says«have a nice day» with a smirk

I came in last week to get a tan. I have normally been to the location that was I Hubbard woods but when that location closed I had to come to this one. I usually get the mystic pray tans but for my wedding I wanted to try the tanning beds. I haven’t never tried it before so when I went in I asked the employee how they worked and if they lasted long just some general questions I had. She looked at me like I was a complete idiot and said«you lay on the bed and get tan» she made me so uncomfortable I just went with my old pray tan. The place was very clean and organized and previously I had good experiences here but now I am weary about going back and trying their tanning beds because I do not want to encounter that employee. I would advise management to try and get employees that smile and are helpful to those like myself do not know much about tanning.

Very Very Clean. State of the art beds, and spray tanning beds ALL of the staff very educated on products and services!!! The owner is a delight(Barb). she loves what she does and it shows! thank you so much, i will be back again!

I have been a customer for a couple of years on and off prior to vacations in the sun. Not only do they have lovely suits(wish they had some with boy short bottoms) but a wonderful staff. Angie and Mareena are always smiling, warm and welcoming. When I forgot my tanning lotion Angie gave me some of her personal stash… which was the best lotion I have ever used. Thank you for the wonderful service. it is truly appreciated.

Very cleanly and convenient location. Entirely pleased with the customer service. Was helped to find a great suit and a lotion that helped me to achieve the best possible color. They have different beds that can help you experience different types of color including deeper color whereas most salons burn you. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. HIGHLY recommend going here!

I would usually pay my update of a review at the end of my original review, but felt it necessary to preface my original review with this update, as it changed my experience of this establishment and view of the owners and their integrity. After my review, I was contacted by one of the owners, who apologized and offered some sessions and informed me about some new equipment and Services they would be having. He explained he and his wife had taken care of the employee situation and apologized again for any inconvenience or trouble I had experienced. While I was only in Highwood for one year, I was not able to take them up on their offer. I was contacted again with a nice follow up message from the other owner recently to check in again and offering assistance if ever I am back. Now, this is how to run a business and focus on customers and respect and appreciate their feedback. This is by far one of the cleanest and delightful tanning salons I have been to. The selections of slippahs, bathing suits and clothing were phenomenal. On my last two visits, one of the owners was working and was so kind and helpful and there with a smile. I have them the the extra stars, original being two, because of their attention, thoughtfulness and integrity regarding this matter. I do wish the bulbs were a bit stronger, however, when owners take the time to prepare a place for consumers to go that has style, flair, uniqueness, cleanliness and such respect for whom their clients are, I think a person could just go one more time in their regularly scheduled tanning session week and enjoy the time to relax and radio the benefit of the rays, especially on the gloomy and snowy days. Thank you, again, for your response and follow up! Cheers! Was looking forward to using my Groupon and getting my tan back on. The shop is in a strip mall by my home. It is bright and clean but the beds seem dated to those I have seen and experienced. They have a great selection of bathing suits and slippahs. The Groupon, cleanlieness and selection of attire give this salon the two stars. The service here had been mediocre, at best on my first two visits. I went back because I had 8 more tans on my Groupon and wanted to give it a chance because of the apparel and close proximity to my home. However, on my third visit I experienced the rudest attendant. I asked to upgrade and, while it is her job to warn me about exposure, she could not have been more snobby and rude about it. I pointed out that I had just moved from Hawaii and new the risks, along with the 40 years I had lived in my skin as well as I had been twice and upgraded both times with no result(making me think the bulbs in these beds need desperately to be replaced). She would not smile, hold a conversation and without letting me know she did not know the price of the upgrade proceeded to get on the phone and held her hand up to keep me quiet. As she waited on the phone I asked if this was going to take a long time, as I was on my way to work and stopped in for a quick and, I was hoping, a nice relaxing tanning session. She was just as rude to the owner as she was to me. So, if the owner is reading this I doubt he/she cares this young girl just lost them a monthly loyal customer, the sale of lotions, future upgrades on my Groupon, and on three suits I had asked another attendant about for special order. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I will go ONLY to finish out my Groupon. I rather be pale than give this establishment my business. I am usually tolerant of some level of rudeness but this was about ten minutes of complete unacceptable poor service. FYI the tan I got from the«best» bed that the attendant warned me against BARELY did anything but make me hot from the dated cooling system! Yep, I guess I do know my own skin young rude girl.
