Very low quality! Many of the things here are used. It was like as they got things from a dumpster and decided to sell them.

There are so many great finds at this market. Great, friendly vendors and a huge variety of different vintage items. Great for die hard pickers and someone looking for a fun piece to add some cool items to their home. Will be back again and again!

Really wonderful small market in Highwood that brings in a love of vintage dealers from around the midwest. It has so much room for growth, but over the past year it has only gotten better. Food trucks, Mobile Shops, music, and delicious tacos are just a small part of the atmosphere of the market. Its very family friendly and a perfect post-brunch stop for the weekend. Lots of midcentury, antiques, vintage clothing, and more. The dealer selection is quite good with fair price points. It’s monthly so my friends and I will for sure be back again!

First time in Highwood and the flea market is pretty hippy dippy. Lot’s of funky folk hanging around with some cool wares. Suggested donation to get in. Mexican food truck outside that looked like it was serving up some righteous plates. We found vendors packing it in early by a few hours on a Sunday due to pending storm. Highlight — American Pickers were in house on this particular day, although I had no idea who they were so I had to ask who the tatted up girl with the line waiting to see her was. Lots of dining options nearby to choose from and directly next to the Metra line. Not far from Ft. Sheridan either.

I had such a great time at this free flea market event. I’ve been to several flea markets in my lifetime, and what I like about this show is the fact that it’s not so big you get tired and overwhelmed once you’ve visited everyone’s booth. It also seems like they do a great job of making sure the competition is to a minimum. Meaning… I didn’t see a ton of repeat booths like a bunch of jewelry vendors or men’s clothing for example. The highlight of the show for me personally was the Sew Moving fabric truck(see pics)! I’m a lover of textiles, and it’s no wonder I was immediately drawn to the textile truck parked outside with all these super cool quilting fabrics lined up along the wall. Fun independent lines, and an owner who just really digs her business. July 14th you can expect to see Unilocal there, so I hope you can make it! Come for a visit and say hello. Rumor has it they’re working on a liquor license for margaritas… yes!
