Small business, we broke down with our old westfila and lucky we were towed and brought here. We needed four new tires. It took reallllly long, but at this point we were happy to be alive after almost crashing on the highway.
We waited about 2 hours for new tires because they were coming from another location. Other than that it was fine. We were allowed to stay with our dog and bunny in their office!

I called Jan’s for a tow because my car was stuck in some mud. Jan’s show’s up, says they are scared of getting stuck in the mud themselves and they could not help me. They charged me $ 135 and left! They did nothing and charged me $ 135! Bad business!

The truck arrived within 15mins of me calling, and the rate I was given was lower than what I expected. Driver was fast, friendly, and took a quicker route to the mechanic than I thought… saving me about $ 100 on tow fees. No complaints!

HORROR STORY! DO NOT USE!
They were contacted (by AAA) to tow my car to an Audi dealership. They arrived, put it on flatbed and then told me they would not take to dealership — but instead were towing to their garage.
There they offloaded my car and told me to wait and another driver would tow me — but that driver’s tow truck wouldn’t start so (hours went by) and then they put on tow truck and a rag on the side to as it was not straight and wheels were scraping against the tow truck! A FORMAL COMPLAINT HAS BEEN ISSUED BY NY THRUWAY AND AAA AGAINST JAN’S MED A CAR — DO NOT USE.

Great towing company but not so great mechanic. i took my car to them right before sandy they had it for a week when I picked it up there was a puddle of trans fluid under the car they had it for another day and when I got it home it was still leaking. As I write this its sitting in the shop for 4 days now getting the same problem fixed, I haven’t had my truck for a month now… use the tow but have it towed back to your own shop… hope this helps someone, the guys were nice and understanding but that dosent fix cars, sorry if they didn’t give me a warranty I’d be SOL.
