The level of customer service at Ackerson is top notch. I teach customer service for a living and the ladies here are among the best I’ve seen when it comes to making you feel welcome. The optometrist here is awesome. She works with you and keeps you informed along the way. I am a curious fellow, so I ask a lot of questions to better my own knowledge. The doctor not only put up with them, but was genuinely happy to answer them with really well thought out answers. The staff at the front are super helpful and friendly as well as the associates who help with picking out your eyewear. They are honest yet open about your opinions and will help you get the best pair for your dollar. I recommend everyone to go hereof you are in the area.

Ackerson EyeCare Center has an amazing selection of unique and designer frames to choose from!
The Optometrist, Opticians and Staff are all very knowledgable and professional. I wouldn’t trust my eyes or my eyewear to anyone else.

Been coming here for many years and they always do a thorough job in my eye exams. They are straight forward and honest with you if you need to get glasses or if you can wait another year for them. You actually feel welcome when you come here!

The staff and doctors at Ackerson Vanderhorst Eyecare Center have always been friendly and professional with me. They’ve been especially helpful whenever I’ve had problems or issues with my glasses, including multiple adjustments. I’ve never had to wait very long to see a doctor or get help looking at frames.
Their frames seem to be on the higher end, price-​wise, but as I said, they’ll stand behind the glasses they sell. And they have a decent selection and a variety of designer frames.
