I’d seen this chain before, in the wilds of Indiana. I was not at all tempted to stop in– it seemed like a typical roadside chain, and in spite of my love for beef the name simply turned me off. However, I noticed that there is one along the route between my doctor’s office and a park where I ride my bike, so I swung by. This location is hidden. The mall it is in is kinda out of the way, and Beef O’Brady’s is tucked away in the back, so you’ll have to search for it. It’s a pretty standard sports bar. Kinda like BW3 or Applebee’s, but not as «fancy.» Lots of screens, lots of booths, not much else going on. Service was decent– the server was great, but they were understaffed so he was overwhelmed. I had the garlic beef sandwich, with onion ring upgrade. It was a solid meal. The beef was very good, as one would hope. The bread and cheese were good, and it combined into a good sandwich. The onion rings were very good– fresh, crispy, but not overcooked. The menu is pretty typical of this kind of place: a mishmash of bar food and trendy items. Wings, burgers, salads, wraps, etc. Something for everyone, and fairly family friendly for a sports bar. If this were in my neighborhood, I’d stop in once in a while. It’s good, but not really worth searching out. Prices are reasonable and they have great lunch specials.

Beef O’ Brady’s has been a great addition to the Hilliard community! The restaurant is very clean. They do a great job catering to families with kids as well as families without! Our kids love the food and the game room! Some of our menu favorited are the naked blackened wings, chili, grilled chicken and kids grilled cheese!

Wow, sloooooow service. I was the first to arrive for a party. Sat for 11 minutes, then they sat the table next to me. Server showed up & greeted the table that just sat? When I asked why, the server told me «my manager told me to go to them first». 36 minutes in we finally ordered after I tracked down the manager. Food was mediocre at best. 75% heat & serve. Not fresh. Also quite overpriced. Don’t waste your time with this place. The columbus market is has much better places for bar food.

Tried the Land, Sea, and Air combo appetizer. Was very pleased. Service was also very good but since we were one of three occupied tables it should have been.

We love our local neighborhood restaurant and will often pick it above other options. We enjoy several of the apps and entrees and we love the large number of soft drink options. Service is also awesome.

Great place to grab a quick lunch or dinner. Quality food, reasonable price and great service. Sports bar atmosphere but a family friendly restaurant that constantly is giving back to the community.

One line summary: Typical mediocre food scene in HIlliard, so pass it over and save some money. Food: Ordered a milk shake and their land, air, and sea basket. Milk shake was unimpressive, tasted like milk, Hersey’s syrup and a scoop of vanilla put into a blender and definitely not worth $ 4. The group appetizer was $ 16 and was bland. The hamburger in the sliders wasn’t seasoned, the buns were greasy, the batter on the popcorn chicken and shrimp was heavy and bland. The honey mustard and cocktail sauce wasn’t my preference either. Service: Charmless and minimalistic. Atmosphere: It’s a pub. TVs and noise. It’s not Irish but it could be fun if the food and service was better. If it was full, It’s be way too loud to enjoy though. Bottom line: Nothing exciting here, so keep driving.

The food was better than expected. Too loud for conversation. The service was above average as well, even on a busy evening.

Great family restaurant for watching the game. I love the local team décor on the walls, and the roll of paper towels at each table for us messy eaters. Some great burgers and fries as well as far as the food is. I’ve tried the hot wings they offer as well, and being someone who’s done hot wing challenges, I assure you these are pretty spicy. Great restaurant and good staff.

This place is around the corner from my parent’s subdivision. It’s a great place to dart out to when you don’t feel like cooking. I had the pretzel roll sliders(I’m a junkie for pretzel anything…) It was okay. The burger wasn’t quite flavorful enough to hold up to the roll, but it was filling and the fries were good. I wasn’t in a drinking mood that night, but the selection almost made me change my mind. I’m sure I’ll be back again.

Not bad for our first place here tonight. We’ve driven by this place many times but had yet to stop in for dinner. We arrived around 6 pm on a Friday night and this place was hoppin’. Given that it was our first time here, I was expecting everything to be extra loud. I wasnt in the mood to have dinner and scream across the table to talk to my husband. I had the mushroom swiss burger and the hubby had the Beef O’Bradys burger. Good food too. We also had ordered the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer too. As for it being a Friday night, for some reason they were backed up in the kitchen. Our waitress came out to tell us that it would be a little bit longer for our food. Our waitress was very attentive and was pleasant. The manager came out and introduced herself and gave us a coupon for our next visit. Cool. We’ll have to come back and try them again. Maybe I’ll try the reuben next time!

I love Beef’s. There are a few little things that can be a pain, but on the whole it’s a great place for some good food and a cold beer. Like other reviews have mentioned, the location of the place is a bit hidden. In fact, that’s the main reason that it only gets 4 stars from me instead of 5. The restaurant is a 4.5 stars, but the location brings it down to a 4 in my book. Even if you lived in Hilliard, it’s still on the outskirts in a very obscure shopping area. It’s quite dark out there too(no streetlamps), so finding your way around can certainly be a challenge. That all said — the food and service is great. I enjoy going there. My family usually orders a combination of an appetizer(try the combo platter — it’s not too expensive, and is totally enough to share between two adults and two preteen girls), a Dubliner(a delicious open faced roast beef /mashed potato /mushroom /gravy sandwich concoction that’s sure to clog your arteries), some wings, a quesadilla, and some onion rings. One other thing that I’m not a fan of … some parents seem to be more than OK with letting their kids run crazy here. I think that they forget that the waitstaff is carrying around heavy trays full of hot foot and sharp silverware … because kids just seem to dart about all the time. It’s also pretty disruptive, because there are those of us that have our kids seated quietly in a booth and eating. Part of this is because it’s more of a «family» type establishment, but a good part of it is because there’s a small game room in the back. It’s a serious risk(and honestly rather annoying) to have toddlers and pre-schoolers running amok while you’re talking smack about a hockey match or an NFL trade. Give Beef’s a try!

I was more impressed with this place on my second visit. They have good nachos. I love their choice of chips and the queso was also decent. Their sliders were also pretty good along with good service. Our waiter was attentive yet let us sit there for 3 hours without a hassle. They do need to get one or two bigger TVs because it sin’t ideal for watching a game. they have a lot of TVs so there isn’t a bad spot to sit but they aren’t huge TVs either.

I could do without the name of this place, but other than that it’s a pretty decently run little restaurant. I’ve been here a few times, and the food has always been good and the staff has always been attentive to me. The name just bothers me. A name with«beef» in it should be a restaurant that focuses on beef… like a steak, or burger place. They do sell burgers, but their feature seems to be wings, and there’s too much chicken and seafood on the menu to be a «beef» focused restaurant. I could look by that if it weren’t for the 2nd part of the name«O Bradys». Irish of course, But other than the use of green in the décor, the place didn’t seem to be all that Irish to me. The menu reflects a typical American bar, not anything unique to Ireland. Still, I like the food and the service, and I like to go there… so four stars it is. It would have been five if it had been named better. ;-)

Beef O’Brady’s is hidden in a strip mall, just on the outskirts of Hilliard. Beefs is a fairly typical chain sports-bar, akin to Applebees. It’s rather small in size, and tends to fill quickly on the weekends. There’s a bar which seats maybe 15, with TVs all around the walls for viewing games. Curious that they bill themselves as an Irish Pub, because aside from the name there is nothing Irish about the place. One thing I really like about Beefs, is the wide assortment of beers. They have a good number of seasonal and local microbrews, both on tap and bottled. I like Great Lakes Brewing company, and last time I visited they had the Conway’s Irish Ale on tap, which I loved. Nothing spectacular about the food. If I was going to highlight anything, it would be their salads, which are fresh made and have generous portions. The Nachos O’Brady and Queso Dip & Chips are also pretty tasty. In closing, while not a place which will blow your mind, Beefs more than fits the bill for a nice dinner. As I mentioned, their wide selection of beers makes me a fan.

Beefs is a chain I guess but this is the only one I have ever seen. The food is upscale pub fare with an open atmosphere that is kid-friendly. I don’t mean to discredit their food by describing it as pub fare but that what it is, just turned up a notch. Great beer selection with friendly staff. The cheeseburger wrap is a family favorite.
