Pizza is decent. I enjoyed the thin crust. Also ordered a ham and cheese sub. Bread was tasty. Ingredients were fresh. But the ham could have been meatier. I would definitely come back, but it’s pretty standard fare.

Great pizza! This is our usual Friday night dinner. Pizza is always piping hot and toppings are fresh and delicious. We usually pick up/take out. We have honestly never eaten in, so, I can’t comment on eat in service. Never had to wait longer than 30 min. From the time I’ve called to pick up for our pizza. Pizza is the only thing we’ve had so can’t comment on the other menu items.

This is a small local joint that is ran like a small family business. In addition to pizza they also have a salad bar and other dishes. The salad bar is old school and I like it that way. I can put what I want on my salad and get a big salad or a small salad. I don’t usually get salads because they are one size fits all, and if you don’t want something on it, you don’t want a salad. However, the salad bar is in the back next to the bathrooms. Probably not something they thought about when they put it back there. I’m not too bothered by it, but I understand why some are. The pizza isn’t glamorous, but that’s not why you’re coming here. If you’re looking for a fancy pizza, this isn’t the joint. If you’re looking for a homemade type pizza(you know, IF you can cook a good homemade pizza), this is the place to be. My co-worker tells me it’s basically a local place. The same people in there would be the same people on any given day. I’m only out here for business, but when I come back this is a place I can see myself eating at again and again. I’m not too fancy and I like pizza just the way it’s always been. Don’t need anything special. For that reason, this place hits the spot for me.

Nothing was good about this place: the pizza, the atmosphere, the smell. Maybe the worst pizza I have ever had. Found out that the«popular» deal was the buffet on Tuesdays. Big mistake. It was dry, hard and tasteless, and should not really be called pizza. And they did run out of the famous desert pizza and never brought another one out. Will not be coming back and I’m actually surprised it stays in business.

Friendly service and great pizza! Not overly greasy like most chain type pizza restaurants. Reminded me of actual homemade pizza! Can’t wait to try the buffet.

We have been going there every Friday for two years now. The pizza cannot be beat. Would love to get the old world style.

the sub was OK at best. nothing to write home about. When they give you a 15 minute pick up time, and you get there early and your sub is ready, but with soggy lettuce and bread… never a good sign.

I’m surprised I haven’t left a review for Iacono’s before given that we’ve been ordering from here for about 10 years. The pizza is a cracker crust, square cut pie. It’s one of my favorites pizzas places in Columbus. Their subs and homemade pasta with sauce are great too. Iacono’s isn’t quite as good as Tommy’s or Dantes, but it’s very close.

We went to this place this past weekend and quite frankly I don’t understand these rave reviews. We were seated immediately and while we walked to our table, I was instantly pissed. The floor was covered in trash. Dirty napkins, straw wrappers, food all over the floor. We’re talking about 4pm. plenty of time to clean up from the lunch rush. The waitress took our drink orders right away. After she left, I instantly started talking about leaving and going some where else. If they don’t care if the public sees their filthy, old carpet, covered in crap, what was then kitchen like?! But we were all hungry from our busy day and didn’t want to go searching for a different place. I swear, the waitress came to our table every minute to see if we were ready to order, even though we gave no indication of that, by putting down our menus. We weren’t even 100% sure we wanted to stay. We ended up staying and ordered 3 pizzas — and they were mediocre, at best. There are so many better options for less money. The hostess stood at her station, but that swinging door was closed. She was on the other side of it. She stood there and pushed on that door, making it swing and squeak, over and over. It was maddening and extremely stressful to watch and listen to. So much for a relaxing early dinner. Because of all of the things that went wrong and the dirtiness factor, I won’t be back.

I have been a fan of Iacono’s for a long time. Have eaten at the location in Dublin are also. They always had a fantastic pizza. This location needs some remodeling though. I will try it again soon to see how I will write my final review.

I’m a big fan of Iacono’s. I hadn’t been back for a little while, but it was great to see that it’s still quality. The salad bar and soup are also an option when getting the buffet. So, you really can get a lot of good food for under $ 9. I went at the tail end of the buffet, and I was afraid that I was going to get the dregs of leftover pizza, but that was not the case. A couple of fresh, piping hot pizzas came out promptly. So, by the time, I was finished with my soup and salad, it was game on! In short, the value is great. Waitstaff is friendly and works hard giving everybody refills. It’s just an awesome experience, and one of my favorite places in Hilliard to eat.

came here for the first time last week with my gf seeing the buffet was $ 8.20. now, we went to the dinner buffet on tues(not the lunch buffet, which is offered daily), but we were charged 7.90 per buffet PLUS $ 2& change per drink. our pre tax total was over $ 20 when we went in expecting less. then comes the«how much do we tip for a self service buffet» question. so we tipped $ 2.50. our walk out total for 2 buffets with tip was $ 23.43. considering we could have gotten a take out pizza for much less than half that elsewhere, we probably wont be back. the pizza was«OK», but nothing to write home about. i did enjoy the supreme and dessert pizza the best out of everything i tried. their pepperoni was nothing to write home about. not bad, not good. i did enjoy my salad and had the fat free italian dressing with some hard boiled eggs sprinkled on. if $ 23 for 2 people eating a mediocre pizza lunch(or dinner) is a great deal to you, then by all means hit this place up. there is just too much great pizza in columbus at better prices to waste my time here again.

A hole in the wall restaurant, which is a good thing. I had the homemade spaghetti, which was more of a linguini noodle. Very good. The marinara sauce was excellent. The salad bar was another plus. The lettuce wasn’t all iceburg crap lettuce, it was a good mix. Good choices, great dressings. Coke is on tap, PLUS!

Good chow. This restaurant was opened by the brother of the late Tommy Iacono who started Tommy’s pizza. The pies are similar… I find Iacono’s crust much more flaky than Tommy’s, but less hearty on top. Still great flavor and balance. Subs also are top notch, but again, just short of his late brothers offering. Great place.

The waitresses were wonderful! The food was good so why a low rating? The owners rudeness and dirty looks and attitude, thats why. Whenever she came around she just seemed to have a chip on her shoulder, I could over hear the lady behind me say the same exact thing. That she was what made the experience more of a negative. I think the waitresses had to work harder the be happy and perky to make up for her attitude walking around this hilliard location.

I came here for their pizza buffet for lunch – a good deal at $ 8.25, it includes pizza, salad bar, soup, dessert pizza, and a beverage.(Buffet runs from 11 – 2 on weekdays.) The salad bar isn’t huge, but they’ve at least moved beyond iceberg lettuce. They have the standard salad bar toppings – some veggies, croutons, several salad dressings. Nothing«gourmet» like fancy greens, sprouts, etc, but if you want to get a little greenery to go with your pizza, it will suffice. The pizza selection is good and plentiful – cheese, vegetarian, meat-lovers, along with a dessert pizza. The crust is on the thin side and the slices are cut small enough to reduce waste and to allow you to try a new combo without feeling guilty about taking too big of a piece. The dining room gets pretty crowded at lunch, but they do have an overflow area and you can get back to the buffet pretty easily. A good solid lunch choice if you work in the area, or if you want to bring a group for lunch. I would go back.

Great food at a great price. Homemade egg noodles are delicious. Homemade meatballs are some of the best in Central Ohio. I think the pizza is OK, but I mainly come for the pasta.

Great family pizza joint. Hole-in-the-wall charm with delicious pizza and subs. It has a half-way decent salad bar, but the pitchers of beer and frosty mugs more than make up for it. Went on Friday night with friends and had a great time. No wait to get in. Cons: less than enthusiastic wait staff, one of the dining rooms doesn’t have much atmosphere(sit on the left side if you can). All-in-all, we will be back and you won’t regret the visit.
