Mod Salon

Awesome pedicure today! I was welcomed as a walk-​in. One of the best I’ve ever received! Very relaxing and being a plus sized woman I was very comfortable and welcomed and made to feel comfortable. Will definitely become a regular here for now on! :)

I have always loved Mod Salon but tonight makes my third experience of having to wait. This was 25 minutes past my appointment time. No one knew or noticed when I walked out. Great place but that part of the service needs to tighten up.

I had a mani/​pedi done by a newer technician. The shellac mani wasn’t that great and the nailpolish started coming off my toenails within 4 days… HOWEVER, they were redone at no charge and after almost 10 days, my pedi is still perfect! I also broke a nail inbetween the time I was able to make it back there for the re-​do and it was fixed for free! If you ever get a not so good mani or pedi, THEY WILL FIX IT FOR YOU. :-)

I went to this location for pink/​white acrylics after my technician closed her shop to take care of an ill family member. I called in advance to see if they use the CND solar nails products and they confirmed that they do. However my nails were horrible. Thy were constantly breaking and lifting. The powder that they use is not in the CND containers and I experienced having the pink portion of the nail be different colors of pink. Prior to coming to Mod Solon I never had a break and I always received compliments on my nails. I decided to go somewhere else, in Upper Arlington, and am so thankful I did. The new nail salon uses powder that is directly from the CND container (Solar Nails) and the owner stated I could go to the back to verify that she was using the CND liquid. The CND liquid is 4 x’s as expensive as the cheap stuff, but it makes a HUGE difference in the look and quality of acrylic nails. When going to a salon, a client should not have to question if the products being used are authentic, but this is common in the nail industry. My nails are now beautiful again and I’m getting lots of compliments once again thank to my new salon in Upper Arlington. I haven’t had a broken or lifted nail since I switched salons and my nails look just like they did when I went to my original nail tech. Mod Salon was a nightmare. My nails took more time to maintain and were much more costly because of the breaks and lifting. The CND powder combined with the CND liquid makes all the difference. Mod salon does not use both and quite honestly I’m not sure if they even use the CND powder.

It was my first time there. I just moved here from out of state. The inside is decorated really cute. I like the Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn paintings in the front lobby. They are beautiful. My daughter and I both got basic manicures. They did a nice job. The lady who did my nails gave me a lot of good advice on what there is to do here in Columbus, me being new to the area and all.

I was very disappointed. The only positive I had was the person who did my nails was very nice and accommodating. I walked in the salon and it smell terrible of nail polish, I almost cancelled my appointments and left. There was no receptionist there in the morning so the person working with me spent 25 minutes of my time on the phone so my spa pedicure lost some time and the massage was terrible. It was so bad I didn’t even realize she was giving me one until she switched legs. Then I got the new gel polish that is supposed to last longer on my fingers. This was supposed to be a spa manicure as well but because of all the time spent on the phone and other random things there was not enough time before her next client. My toe nail polish chipped by the next night (when I do it myself it lasts for a month with no problems) and the gel that isn’t supposed to chip is chipping away from all of the tips of my nails. Very disappointed and will not be returning.

I wanted to let you know that I LOVE this salon. The salon itself is serene, clean, and really a nice place to go. It does not smell chemically like some other salons. The people are friendly and really know their nails! I have been coming in regularly (which is something for me) and have had different people work on my nails. I have had good results from everyone. I got a lot of very nice complements on my nails during Christmas. I told them where I went and highly recommended they try out Mod Salon. Prices are very reasonable. I have gone here with my daughter for pedicures and they treated/​pampered her just as nicely as they treated me.

Favorite nail place! Anytime I come the people are polite and talkative. The interior is so clean and modern, I love it. They even have a rewards program which I have never heard of a salon doing.
Defiantly recommend this place!

I love Mod Salon! I’ve been there twice so far and they have the best pedicure chairs, the décor is great and the workers are so nice! I got a pedicure and a gel manicure at my most recent visit and both were relaxing and very well done.

I have been going to Mod Salon since it opened several years ago and its the only place for me. I usually get a pedi and they last a really long time. The salon is very clean and relaxing, and I love the sugar scrubs they make (that change with the season).

I always have a great experiences at Mod Salon. Their pedicures are the best and reasonably priced. Each of the technicians gives a great leg massage. The atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. They also have a loyalty program. My go-​to location!

The ladies working at the shop ignored me when I was there. They were too busy with their convos to pay attention to the clients. My nails were ok.
