Absolutely terrible customer service. I went out of town for the weekend and dropped off several suits on Thursday to have cleaned while I was gone. I was told they would be ready Saturday afternoon, but I would pick them up first thing Monday morning. The store opens at 7am on Monday morning, and I arrived at exactly that time to find the store closed. Ten minutes go by and still nothing. I was beginning to be concerned that I would miss an early morning meeting, so I call their corporate office to inform them no one was at the store. Of course, the corporate office doesn’t open until 8am, so I decided to use their paging service to page someone who could help me. I enter my phone number, wait 15 minutes, and still nothing. At around 7:30am, the employee finally arrived to open the store. No one was apologetic about the inconvenience. I called the corporate office again and left a message to let them know what had happened. I have been using Swan heavily the last several months, and I asked for a call back from someone who could reassure me that I could continue using the location without worrying I would be made late for meetings. No one ever called me back, rather from the page or from my message at the corporate office. The company clearly has no interest in retaining loyal business. If you live in Hilliard, I would recommend K’s Dry Cleaners(in shopping center diagonal from the shopping center where this Swan location is located). You’ll get much better customer service, support a family-owned local business, and get excellent results.

I dropped off 2 bedspreads, 1 mattress cover, and 1 small coat. My total was roughly $ 70, and I paid the day I dropped off my items. When I went to pick them up about a week later, I was told I still owed $ 33, because the employee(same woman in the store both times — NOT friendly or welcoming) didn’t charge me properly the first time(although she certainly never bothered to call me after making her error to inform me of this BEFORE my items were cleaned). I asked if I could at least receive a discount, since I was under the impression that everything had been covered. She gave me a $ 3 discount — not the best way to compensate for your mistake, Swan Cleaners! They have lost my business for good.

Hands down worth the worst service I’ve experienced in a while. So bad, that I didn’t even leave my items there to be cleaned. The lady working in the business seemed so incredibly bothered by the questions I was asking her, about a 31 year old christening gown, that I didn’t feel comfortable leaving it in her hands. When I called her out on her rude behavior, her demeanor instantly changed and she all of a sudden wanted to be helpful. I feel if I’m coming into your place of business as a customer, the least you can do is answer the questions I have in a polite manner. It is part of your job, after all.
