I have small feet so when I was in search of Dansko shoes I was ecstatic to find that CNM carried size 35(Europe) aka 5(USA). Shoes are extremely difficult to find as my shoe size varies depending on the type of shoe. I can wear size 3 — 6 in women so when I can find the shoe I like & the company carries the size, I’m pretty damn happy. CNM also gives a 10% discount to those who work in the medical & food service industry so after showing my KP badge I left with new shoes at a discounted price & happy feet. Service was great as I didn’t feel pressured to buy & the staff was available when I had questions. There are several locations in PDX but I frequent the location on Hawthorne(CNM2) the most. The service is just as good there as it is in Hillsboro & it’s closer to home. CNM also offers shoe repair at an affordable price. I’ve had one of the strap buttons fixed for free & new tread replaced for $ 20& I’ve owned the pair for over two years. Both times the shoes came back cleaned & polished. I just recently received my second pair of Dansko shoes as a gift but I’ll continue to purchase at a CNM for as long as Dansko exists & the service continues the way has been.

My feet bug me all the time. I have been reduced to wearing Crocs most of the time and let’s face it – they aren’t terribly fashionable. I have heard from many people that Dansko Clogs were amazing, but I hadn’t ever tried a pair on. Because I needed to go over to Tanasbourne to Macy’s and REI I decided to swing by Clogs-N-More and check them out. I am so glad I did! Not only was the nice guy at the desk friendly, he knew his stuff. I told him my foot issues, that I had a wide Barney Rubble foot, hard to fit etc… He not only found me the perfect pair of clogs but found me a second pair! So I bought two. His customer service was great, he knew his product, and it was a great experience.

There are so many times when you feel pressured into buying by retail store employees and don’t even get me started about the aggressive/annoying sales tactics of kiosk vipers at malls. So I was quite amused by a store that almost seemed to be turning away business, or at least pointing me in another direction. However, their sly reverse sales psychology was very effective. I adore Dansko shoes and Clogs-N-More is one of my favorite shops. My best experiences have been at the Alder Street location downtown, but I’ve also bought shoes at their Hawthorne and NW23rd stores. When I recently found myself wandering the Streets of Tanasbourne, I happily went inside to check out the new styles. I was being a looky-loo and after I inquired about items on sale, rather than try to sell me something at full retail, she went out of her way to let me know about their outlet store on Broadway. She even gave me a business card with the address. That day I also lost one of my favorite earrings, so I spent the afternoon calling all of the stores and restaurants in the area in case some good samaritan turned it in. Rather than a quick, «nope, don’t have it» over the phone she said my best bet was to call the security office and she provided the phone number. In this day and age, it is really nice when someone goes out of their way(repeatedly) to provide quality customer service. Especially when I wasn’t even a customer on that particular day. But I certainly have been in the past and will continue to be one in the future.
