Had dinner with the family here tonight. The service was excellent. The waitstaff was very friendly and personable. Our glasses were never empty and our waitress was knowledgeable about what was on the menu. The food was amazing. I had «the judge» which was hands down the best steak sandwich I have ever had and it was cooked perfectly medium rare.

If I could give no stars I would. We didn’t stay to eat because the whole place smelled like an ashtray. Don’t bother unless you enjoy lighting up with your lunch.

We have been here 3 times in the last few months and the service gets slower with each visit. The food was great on our first visit but today… Well let’s just say the easiest appetizer to make their loaded tater skins came out burnt rock hard the music downstairs was shaking the floor and obnoxious. Needless to say we sent the app back and asked for a bill for our drinks and left to find a real restaraunt

My wife and I were looking for a good experience close to home. We walked in and was seated. There were no ashtrays on the tables but the smell of smoke was obvious. When asked, we were told it was from the bar down stairs. At first we were the only ones there (Sunday 4 PM). There was a table full of dishes in the middle of the restaurant when we arrived and it was still that way when we left. While we were there, two other parties (6 & 2) came it. The «other waitress» for most of the time we were there spent her time watching the game channel on TV. The spaghetti and meatballs and fish sandwich were good except that one of the four meatballs was crispy with freezer burn. We did get good service from our waitress. We will not be returning.

so far i’ve wasted about $ 30 here… heard it was good, week and half ago I ordered double boneless wings to go, got home, could not even eat one of them, total waste of money, they were old or something, almost completely hard, super chewy, chicken meat was yellow and hard on inside… someone said, was probably just the cook, so ordered again same thing tonight, it got home and wow the exact same waste of money hard chicken. not happy, never getting another dime, how hard is it to deep fry boneless wings, wish i could of made whoever cooked that junk eat it all and get my money back.

The blt here is delicious. They used thick cut bacon and there were a ton of slices on my sandwich. Most of the time when you get a blt, you are constantly looking for bacon in your sandwich. Every bite had bacon and there was tons in it. My coworker got their Reuben sandwich and he loved that. All in all a good lunch spot when in the Hillsboro area.

Good food, poor service. One waitress working the entire inside and outside seating. An hour and 15 min for 2 salads. No refills on our drinks.

My wife and I bought the Groupon for this place and put it on our list of places to try. We went in on a Sunday evening around 5:30. The place wasn’t crowded at all. It didn’t have any kind of «vibe» to it. It was very plain. Tables all in a row and hardly any décor. There was one TV and it DID NOT have the Cards game on. But instead some fishing show. We sat down and our waitress came right over.
We ordered waters and then scoured the menu. We had $ 30 to spend from the coupon. We looked at many things but decided on the loaded potato skins as an appetizer. Great choice! They were amazing. Very well cooked and the toppings were excellent. I ordered the 1 lb burger cooked medium and my wife ordered a French dip sandwich. Both came out about 20 minutes after the appetizer, so not too long of a wait time. The burger was big and tasted great. The steak fries were standard steak fries and were cooked well.
My burger, although delicious, was not cooked properly. It had zero pink in the middle and was definitely closer to well done. It didn’t dry out though so I didn’t complain. The steak fries were just regular old frozen steak fries. The place was very quiet and it had an awkward atmosphere. Our waitress, who I found out was the owners daughter, was very nice yet not personable. All this aside, my main complaint is this. I purchased a Groupon that cost $ 16 for $ 30 worth of food. Well the restaurant had an All You Can Eat Ribs deal going on the night I went and I definitely would’ve chosen to have that for my meal. But I was informed that I couldn’t use my Groupon money for that deal. That made me a little upset but oh well, rules is rules I suppose.
Overall, the food was good, although plain. The atmosphere was quiet and awkward. The service was pleasant and the food prices were excellent! We will return to try the All You Can Eat boneless wings on Wednesday nights!

I absolutely love this place. I see other people commenting on the service. I never have slow service and the people are always super nice. Remember, it’s a small restaurant and there aren’t a lot of waitresses, it’s not their fault if they are a little slow. The food is always hot and really good!

Shrimp was burned and Luke warm when served. Fries where cold, wilted and not eatable. No desire to return.

I eat here with a few family members once a month and really like the food. The onion rings are to die for.
Today we had a party of 15 and the food was good and service was good. Very family friendly atmosphere.

Went there with my kids. We had a steak special (peppercorn brandy), a burger, and a kids meal. The steak was cooked perfectly and the peppercorn brandy sauce was very good. Would order this again. My daughter had a cheeseburger and loved it. Cooked the way she ordered it. My son enjoyed his chicken strips. We all would go back again.
The service was good. Checked on us a few times and refilled drinks. Didn’t wait any longer than I thought we should have. The place was not very crowded but we got there right at 5. It was starting to get busier as we sat there.
We have been there a few times. Have been happy with our food and service every time.

Service was quick but the food was slow. This is fine with me as I know it’s all prepped and cooked when ordered. Service was very small town friendly and prices were good. The burger and fries were very good as well.

Have eaten here many times. Food is good and prices are reasonable. They are a little slow but they don’t make the food until you order it. Have tried everything from nachos to pasta to crab legs to steak. It’s all good

Excited to try a new restaurant, my family and I stopped by for dinner. I ordered a French dip sandwich, and noticed right away that it had a dime sized glob of fat in the meat. I was still going to pick it out, when I noticed a half dollar sized glob of fat right next to it. At that point, I sent it back, and asked for a different French dip. The waitress returned the same plate, explaining that all the French dips would be the same fat content, as it came from the same cut of meat. Although I was nauseated by the fat globs, I took the plate back, and only ate a couple of the steak fries on the plate, as they were over cooked and flavorless. My sister-​in-​law ordered the Frisco sandwich. It came out on a regular hamburger bun instead of sourdough, and it was identical to a bacon cheeseburger. She was disappointed, but ate it without complaining. I never touched my French dip, and was surprised when we got the bill, and the French dip charge was still on it, even though I had made it clear that I was displeased with the quality, and tried to send it back. I requested to the server to have the French dip removed. She said she would «ask her manager, and see if it could be taken off.» Having worked in the hospitality business myself, the item should have already been taken off of the bill, as it wasn’t eaten. The item was removed, and we were given a new bill, but no attempt was made to truly resolve the situation beyond that. The experience was a lousy one, and we won’t be returning. The only reason I am giving it one star, is the waitress was very pleasant.

This place was horrible! We stopped here on the way into town and we had to wait over an hour for our food. The hamburgers were like eating a piece if charcoal and the chicken was completely dry with no flavor. Most of our orders were messed up and they didn’t even ask to fix them. Also the people in the place were rude and had starring problems. It smelled like smoke and wasn’t very welcoming way too small for a group of people. It’s not worth any minute of your time. The only good thing about this place was their mints!

We eat at the grill often for lunch and always get the teriyaki wings. They are delicious! And sandwiches. I have had the rueben, the judge, the prosecutor, and the club sandwich. They are all huge. Very generous portions. And all were very good. My favorite has been the judge.

This place is right across the street from the Jefferson County Courthouse, so if you are here for court and need a place to eat without moving your car this is one of your three (non-​fast-​food) options.
Maybe a touch on the pricey side, but the portions are pretty decent and I’ve never had a problem with the service. Salads are huge and take up the entire plate. I like to mix my salad up a little, so I should have gotten an extra plate.
Biggest surprise without any doubt: they had ribs as a daily special and they were actually really good. Ribs can be kind of hit or miss around here so I was a little apprehensive about it, but they were fall-​off-​the-​bone tender and well seasoned. Much better than I’ve gotten at some barbeque places.
