First off, this place is patronized by a lot of locals. They order and pick up and the place is usually very quiet. Based on other reviews, I decided to give it a try because Yanni’s is the only other place and it is terrible. My family of 5 ordered a large pizza(for the kids), lasagna and sandwich. We spent over $ 50 on lunch. They have a large menu, which in theory sounds really good. You order at a counter from a bunch of high school kids and find a table. There are no fountain drinks, just bottles. The place is a dive and needs an update. About ten minutes after ordering, our food arrived. Things were okay up to this point. The pizza was swimming in oil and was very chewy — my kids, who normally will eat any pizza hated this pizza. My $ 9 lasagna was a 3″ by 3″ gelatinous mess of cheese, overcooked noodles and sauce. It came with an oily bread stick which was served on a paper plate too small for it, so the edges touched the table(which we were not convinced was clean). Each time I tried to pick up a forkful of lasagna, it dropped in a splattered mess back in the tinfoil pan it was defrosted in. Yes, it had the taste of freezer burn. I went up to the counter to exchange the mess, and instead of saying, sure we will be happy to replace this, the kids stood around and looked at each other with the«eye roll» until one of the older ones finally said, «yeah, get them something else.» It was replaced with a flavorless«grinder» which consisted of bologna, cheese, shredded lettuce and way too much mayo. You also have to bus your own«dishes» at this place, but you know the kids in the back are too busy to bother with this.

They were quick, friendly, reasonable, and food was excellent. There was lots of choices that you could choose from on the menu.

I’ve gone here quite a few times they’re food is over priced and to make the experience even worse the owner is always rude I’m all done paying to be mistreated. The pizza place down the street is less expensive and they’re so friendly.

I enjoy visiting the Hillsboro House of Pizza. Their specialty pizzas are great(although I haven’t tried them all!) and I enjoy their salads as well. The food is always fresh and the service is pleasant and efficient. Give them a try and I’m sure that you’ll enjoy it!

I have been there twice now for take out sandwiches and have not been disappointed. Great flavorful tuna sandwiches and the staff is friendly, which is a bonus. I did buy a pizza last winter from them and it was a little bland for my liking. Not sure if the gossip is true, but I heard from the local grape vine that 3 families run this restaurant and depending on the family cooking, you will get different sauces on their pizza. I would go back again.

I have eaten at this place quite a few times, out of s sheer lack of options in this small town. It’s always been mediocre, but sometimes you need to get takeout for one reason or another. Last night however, was probably the last time I will ever eat anything from this pizza place again. After spending the past three days on the road, and eating nothing but junk from gas stations, and vending machines, I was home– exhausted and hungry. I did not feel up to cooking dinner for husband, son and I, so I sent hubby to go pick up what I thought would be something passable. I ordered a steak and cheese special, and spicy fries. It was special all right. The spicy fries were stale, hard, chewy and anything but spicy– freezer burnt and tasteless. The steak was chewy, and gristly with slimy canned mushrooms and stale bread. It was also completely devoid of any flavor whatsoever. The entire meal was reminiscent of some old leftover takeout that you find in the back of your fridge, and microwave too long, so it becomes nearly inedible. It was the worst food I e eaten in a long time, and i am pretty easy to please especially when near the brink of starvation. I am amazed tbh, that it’s even possible to make food this bad, and more amazed by all the good reviews on here.

Although not the best, HHOP is not the worst. Going there for a late night snack or ordering out for the family, their pizza is pretty good. Their salads, though, along with their subs are overpriced and you certainty don’t get what you pay for. What I recommend is the Sicilian pizza with pepperoni. Although it takes a bit longer to cook because of the thick dough, it is worth the wait! I would visit again, but wouldn’t stray far from the pizza options here!

Good place for tasty pie and grinders. It’s clean, the food is made fresh from scratch. It’s old school but so much better than you’ll have at any national chain. Worth the effort.

The pizzas were better than I remember but still a little doughy. I should have asked for them to be crispier.

This place is great. Food is high quality and service is fast. Prices are reasonable and staff is friendly. Sausage parm is my favorite.

Confession: I assumed I would be «settling» for some crummy pizza with ketchup-like sauce when my friend suggested this place. But at least I didn’t have to cook, so fine, right? To my surprise, the pizza was pretty good at first bite… and second… and before I knew it, I’d eaten WAY more than planned. I’ve now ordered pizza here three or four times, and I genuinely crave this pizza. The spinach and feta one is perfect(and has enough green to make it count as health food). The crust and sauce are expertly seasoned. One time we ordered mushrooms on our pizza and discovered they were the slimy canned kind. But I’m not docking any stars because I just don’t think mushrooms are essential. Maybe this was the universe telling me to stick with spinach.

Pizza is good, but not excellent. Spicy fries are good. Burgers are terrible(burgers used to be good years ago). Fries, onion rings, poppers are all frozen. not made fresh. Typical NH pizza joint, nothing special about it.

Doesn’t look like much from the outside but the two pizzas we ordered were delicious and a great combination of toppings. I recommend these: KiKi’s Special — Feta, garlic, chicken, spinach House Special — Mushroom, Onion, Bell Peppers, Sausage and Pepperoni

Some people don’t like Greek style pizza but I think Hillsboro House of Pizza does it RIGHT! I have never gotten anything that was not Y-U-M-M-Y! They are always friendly and quick! AND they have Baklava while you wait or to take home for desert!

Probably my favorite take out spot in this area within 30-minutes of here. These«house» locations usually are indicative of Greek heritage owned. If you want to get creative with steak tips, onion rings fries, etc you are probably going to be let down. If you stick with pizza you can’t really go wrong. Ordering time is usually 3 – 5 minutes less than actual time. If you order without calling in it has a tendency to feel like you are waiting forever.

Probably the best pizza in the area, and even the salads are great. Not sure about the other stuff though.
