Came here for a Bloody Mary. There are 2 bars open in DTH at 8AM. This and Elmer’s. Elmer’s Bloody Mary is far better.

This is a very divey local bar in downtown Hillsboro that is bigger than it looks from the outside. There is parking available in the back. Drinks are cheap. The bathroom is tiny and clean as far as dive bar bathrooms go.
I kind of wish I lived in downtown Hillsboro just so I can frequent Joe’s again.

This bar is über divy. I don’t mind dive bars but couple of batenders here are very rude, esp if they think that you don’t speak English. I only went there today because all the bars in downtown were closed. I felt the bartender was giving me attitude when I was trying to order my drink so I walked right out. I have had better experiences here but todays experience makes this place a One-​star bar.
