Did a sales event here recently. Everything was very easy and the venue was just what we were looking for. The staff was very helpful and on top of everything, and the food was great. The projector setup was nice and the projector itself was higher quality and more modern than most venues. They went the extra mile, even wrapping up some sandwiches and offering them to guests to go. Will definitely host events here again in the future.

Nice place. Rude mngmt staff (thanks Matt). Be prepared to spend your children’s college fund or spend the night bussing your own tables with them hovering over you. Read your contract carefully or you could end up paying to have water glasses on your tables without any water to put in them. Or you could pay for spoons at every setting only to find out they’re short about 50 spoons and not every setting will get one.
Not sure what happened to this place, they were really great 2 years ago, but now they’re just getting to good for all of us low lifes. New staff maybe? NW Events is now The Almighty’s gift to Hillsboro. You should feel honored to step foot through their doors. They are so booked and so busy that they can treat paying customers like second class citizens, so be warned.
Honestly, there are several other venues to choose from around here with friendly staff and event coordinators that value customers and long term relationships. Your budget will go further and help the Hillsboro community more if you book elsewhere. You will have a better experience for you, your event team, and your group somewhere else, especially if you have an annual event.

I had the pleasure of working with the NW Events & Environments staff over several months for very large and complex events with my company. These events involved multiple room set-​ups and changes, complex AV requirements, transportation for over 1000 people, catering, 12+ hour days by both our staff and thier staff, and an large amount of flexibility. I never once saw NWEE waiver in their professionalism or customer service. They consistently went above and beyond to not only meet our needs; but to surpass our wants as well. I saw them do whatever it took to get the job done with integrity and efficency. The level of customer service was as good as it gets. I would hire them professionally for a large event or personally for a small event without hesitating. The most heartfelt of thank you’s to John, Rebecca, Jesse and the rest of the crew.

My team and I were in the final planning stages of a 6 week, high profile and very intense training and orientation program for 1000 + employees. We had a venue plan but it was less than ideal and I was very nervous about it. So when I became aware of NWEE through a colleague, I decided to call and see if they could accommodate our needs. Truthfully, I was not expecting the answer to be yes but because John and his team had just extended their business to include weekday events, they were wide open and more than happy to jump right in with us.
Within a very short time we had revised all our plans, set the schedule and planned everything down to the tiniest detail. The whole NWEE team was extremely friendly, very professional and happy to meet our sometimes overly-​demanding requests. NWEE made our 6 week journey a resounding success and I am so grateful to them for their generosity of spirit and dedication to the realization of our goal. I would be thrilled to work with this team again should our need arise and I cannot recommend them enough!
