I love stopping in at Petrich’s to grab a candy bar, Monster drink or… power tools. This place is awesome and their stuff is reasonably priced for such a convenient little store. Very friendly.

This is such a fun store and a regular stop for those of us who live in the area. Even though the prices are a little higher than what you can find elsewhere, the convenience is well worth the extra pennies! We buy everything here from electrical supplies to gas to frozen pizzas and everything in between. It doesn’t take long before you get to know the people working here and they are all very friendly locals who are always happy to listen to your stories. It’s like taking a step back into the 50s and we love it! Of course, this is also a great stop for those many bicyclists who travel out to the Scholls area on a nice summer day or the families that come out this way to pick berries or grab some local apples. If you are in the area, be sure to stop and pick up something and support this GREAT local business.

This is a funky cool general store off Scholls Ferry road. It has everything a person could want from automotive to farming tools and even groceries. It is one of my favorite places to stop to pick up a drink and browse the isles just to see the cool stuff. Walking into the place is like stepping back in time 60 years. If it wasn’t for the new refrigerators and cash register the place probably would look the same as the day it was built. I think some of the items on the shelves may have been there since it opened. Walk to the rear of the store to see some antiques. If drive down Scholls Ferry this is a must stop.

Petrich’s is a historical landmark in the Scholl’s area, it’s been there is some form over 100 years. It is a good place to stop for road food on your way to Newberg or the beach, although it’s right in my neighborhood. It is a grocery store /gas station /hardware store with some old fashioned charm. Not your typical convenience store for sure! They even have fresh vegetables all year round and local berries while in season.
