The chicken phở was served in beef broth which I found to be nauseatingly metallic/bloody tasting as someone who doesn’t eat beef. It was the second worst tasting and most expensive phở I have ever had at over $ 9 for a large. also tried Thai iced tea for the first time, which I enjoyed but didn’t appreciate the waitress walking past the table four time before we had to flag down and ask for the free refill(per the menu). My boyfriend ordered the spicy noodle soup, which was okay but had the same metallic broth issue for someone who did eat beef. We had 4 different people help us at the table, which I felt detracted from the quality of service overall.

Great pad thai, bun and phở. Love this place. The service is great and price is comparable.

Rude staff. Unfriendly cashier and servers. I couldn’t get a refill for Thai iced tea because my spouse took a couple sips from mine. Very disappointed with the attitude recieved. We won’t be eating here any longer.

Phở Tango seems to have gotten better over the years! Even with the lunch crowd, the phở here is consistently good. I only really get the phở, but my husband loves the bun thit nuong cha gio. I can usually get in and out within 30 minutes which beats any fast food option in the area and let’s be honest it’s healthier(as long as you load up with sprouts and basil).

Delicious Vietnamese food, conveniently located, clean restaurant, friendly service. I dined Phở Tango with family for a relaxing weekend lunch. I was excited to check out more Vietnamese comfort food options in the area. I ordered the Vietnamese beef stew. It was warm, savory and loaded with meat, potatoes and carrots, and served with a crispy baguette. This dish was delicious and totally brought back good memories of growing up with mom’s homecooking. I am one happy clam. The fam also ordered the phở and vermicelli noodle bowl, and thoroughly enjoyed their dishes. It is nice that they offer gift certificates to purchase. We got one for my parents since they love Vietnamese food, so you really can’t go wrong. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Phở Tango. It is a great option for Vietnamese food in the area, when you need your phở fix.

I’ve been coming to this place from the start of their business and thought I’d update my comments. The service has not changed; polite and quick. The menu has gotten a little smaller, but the FOOD is still fresh, delish and habit forming. I love the rice noodle dishes with lemongrass pork, shrimp, and a spring roll! Their soups are great, especially if you’re not feeling good and soup is all your body will handle. I haven’t tried their combo meals because I’m not into combo meals. I love their Thai ice tea and they give free refills! For dessert, you have got to try their Moon Cakes! Although I can’t eat much of one, they are moist, tasty, and chock full of great ingredients; although they aren’t made at the restaurant. The cakes are a little on the spendy side, but well worth the price — dense little cakes filled with nuts, coconut, raisins… yum!

There is nothing really special about the food. However, my American husband loves it. I think it is because they Westernised the food to fit their tastes.

Service was excellent but food wasn’t. Ordered salad rolls and fried rice. Fried rice didn’t had enough flavor n salad rolls were ok.

Number one reason to make this your go-to phở joint: free Thai iced tea refills. Yes, you read that right, this place REFILLS your Thai iced tea! As far as I can recall, this is the first such place I’ve been to in the Portland area, and it’s great — Thai iced tea is great to begin with, and unlimited refills from wait staff just wandering around the restaurant with pitchers full of the stuff is straight-up amazing. Now, the food itself: I ordered a #12 phở, and both my friends ordered the #10. We all got large bowls, and I would recommend that adults get the large in general — you might as well, as the price differential is minimal for a fairly substantial size upgrade. The broth is standard phở broth, and the amount of noodles and protein is generous. You also get your standard bean sprouts and mint(one plate per order). I recommend adding their chili paste(which is pretty yummy) and some Sriracha to your bowl, as well. I definitely plan on coming back here!

Seafood with rice noodle soup is the best around. I usually get it with shrimp and meatballs only. I’m really not a fan of the imitation stuff and the fish balls. Their beef phở is also good. It always comes steaming hot and flavorful. If you are in Hillsboro there is no other Phở noodle restaurant around that can compete. There is a wait list for lunch hours but a long wait for 2.

First, tea is not free. They charged us for $ 1.50. Second, you need to call for service just to refill your water. Third, staffs are staring at you while you eat! It’s not comfortable! Only 2 stars for now!.I hope they focus more on their service. Food is fine, though. I recommend that they should make they’re own meatballs; not the meatballs you can buy in all grocery stores.

This is probably the nicest looking Vietnamese restaurant I’ve been to. We came here on a Saturday morning and it was pretty crowded. This place has A LOT of seating and the restaurant was filled with customers. The waiters stopped by often to refill water and to make sure everything was okay. The waiters were nice and prices are on par with other phở restaurants in the area. The restaurant is very clean looking compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. I ordered the honey lemongrass grilled chicken and it was delicious. My husband ordered the Phở and really enjoyed it. I will definitely stop by again if I am ever in the area.

Great food, excellent service, and reasonable price. We have tried other phở places in the area and this by far is the best one we have tried. Compared to the phở places we go to in Los Angeles and Vegas, this definitely is our go to phở place here in Portland.

This has become one of my favorite go to places for PHO– now I have a couple of others I switch back and forth with but overall this is by far my favorite place. I usually get the Meat Special Phở– it has Eye round steak, well-done flank, brisket, soft tenderloin, tripe & meat balls. The flavor of the broth is to die for. My duaghter had the Pad Thai with chicken — not the absulte best I have had but pretty good overall.

I think hands down this is the best Phở place around. The salad rolls are always very fresh tasting and not filled will to much rice noodles. The Phở broth is very flavorful and not salty like at some places, this is what really hits home for me. I have also had many of their rice and noodle dishes which always are pleasing to eat and look great. Full of flavor too and not overcooked. If you like Thai Ice Tea you get free refills and I like theirs a lot because it is not to sweet. If you like Phở or any Vietnamese food try this place and you will be back.

Our first try with Phở. Pretty delicious. Super quick. Fairly healthy. Very friendly staff. We didn’t like the marinated veggies or the plain beef broth, but that may have just been us. We don’t have any experience to compare it to. In the world of Phở, it may have been the supreme best, for all we know. The crab cream cheese wontons were fantastic!

This place was PHOnomenal! I’ve been talking about trying Phó since forever but I was a little hesitant(don’t ask me why). Anyways on a whim I tried this restaurant and I was so happy that I did. I just want to say first and foremost that this is my first time trying Phó so I don’t have any other restaurant to compare it to yet! The food came out quick and the service was pretty amazing. We ordered a bunch of menu items like we normally do because I always try to give a review based off of more then just a few items. Appetizers: Spring rolls: they were just okay… Not bad but I’ve had better Pot stickers: they were also just okay, but the sauce they’re sitting in is PHOnomenal! It took the pot sticker to a much needed level of tastiness Salad rolls: Mmm I’ve ordered them twice now because the peanut sauce is great! Entrée: Orange chicken: top 3 that I’ve ever had with the perfect amount of tangy, sweet and saltiness Shrimp fried rice: pretty delicious I just am not a fan of leaving the shells on shrimp that is mixed in with rice(or pasta) Lean brisket and round eye steak Phó: I seriously drooled *wipes mouth* the broth is so flavorful and not too salty, I loved it and with the large I definitely took some home We returned the next day which happened to be today and we were greeted with the same great customer service and delicious food! I’ll be a regular by the weekend! Happy Unilocaling…

Fresh, delicious! The best fried rice around… The oil is light, the veggies fresh and the rice… is the perfect texture. I have eaten every dish on the menu and all has been delicious and fresh. Great salmon. Not too salty either!(that’s a pet peeve of mine). I’m not sure why this place would have less than five stars for anyone… Maybe it’s a couple bucks more than the closest competitor, but the food is far better.
