Sunset Granite

This company does landscaping too and I came home to find all of their tools and wheelbarrow in my year and on bushes. When I approached the man, looking at his phone, I told him he had all of his tools on my property… and he said «yea so what??» Not the people you want representing your company I have the philosophy to take care of others property as you would your own.

I am really happy with Andy’s work for a few reasons. One is that his price is competitive and he’s willing to work with you. Second he did not mark up the material as much as the big boys. Third, he was able to do the job in a quick time frame. For those of you that want to go this route and not wait 2 – 3 weeks for the installers to show, I would recommend going with Sunset.
I enjoyed working with a small business even though I understand how busy and swamped a small business can get. Keep this in mind when working with most small business. You usually end up getting a better price and more personal service.

I found this business on Angie’s List, where I bought a «big deal» for one complete granite counter installed with sinks, and I ended up getting two. They completed both bathroom countertops for me with good results. One minor issue, I had to choose from remnant slabs to get the «big deal» pricing, which was not even in the fine print.
But I had to downgrade my review to 3 from a previous 5 star rating… They sold the granite slab I reserved. This broke the verbal commitment to hold the material. That was the other half of my project!
I very distictly remember that I offered to pre-​pay for the slab until I was ready and Andy declined to take the payment, and even when Andy called again to confirm I wanted it, I emphatically said «Yes», but he failed to mention of any one month policy.
It is frustrating to have half a bathroom remodeled in River Bordeaux, a nice but hard to find granite slab. The project is still not done and I’ve wasted many months trying to find match to this material.
