Wonderful funky and fun stuff! The owner, Sue, is great. I highly recommend a visit to this little treasure of a shop, you won’t be disappointed.

Super cute store with a nice selection of furniture and accessories. Really friend owners/staff. I found a cute side table and got an adorable little porcelain bird thrown in for free. I’ll definitely be back regularly.

This place is awesome! There is something for everyone. Every time I stop in I see something new that I MUST have. Also, a great place to find unique gifts for all occasions. Sue, the owner, is the best ever and so accommodating. I want to bring her home with me to decorate my whole house! p. s. she will do it too, just ask :) Please stop and check WINK out. Shop local and support our small business women.

When I work in this area, there’s not much to do that doesn’t take up the better part of my lunch hour. However, I had to pat myself on the back today because I remembered to come to this funky fun store and wander through the shop and shop. I didn’t buy anything today, but I think it’s one to keep on my list because I have friends and family who would be very pleased to get something from Wink(and I’d be perfectly happy to buy myself something there as well). There is a mélange of vintage and antique items and upcycled items made by the owner. The items made or upcycled by the owner are very nicely done, very professional looking, and prices are quite reasonable. I really liked her handmade jewelry and various painted pieces of furniture. There’s an excellent assortment of vintage/antique goodies, and I saw a pitcher and glass set that I think my grandmother had in her kitchen back in the day. Her nice vintage lamps are pretty and in great shape; I have a friend obsessed by vintage lamps, so this is the place to tell her about to feed her habit. One thing I appreciate about WINK is that its clean and well-dusted; I don’t sneeze or cough here, an usual state of affairs for me when I shop in a lot of vintage/antique shops. The store owner is very friendly, but not intrusive. I stopped to look at a grouping of pictures on the wall and she told me the stories about how the pictures were of her mom’s first couple of stores and then her first WINK store in Lake Oswego. It was pleasant to hear the story. I enjoy back stories and personal histories and it’s the perfect way to draw people in without having to do the old hard sell; nothing better than just keeping it natural and going with the flow. She is also very knowledgeable about her items and can answer questions quickly with a wealth of information. I’m sure I will be back to buy from this great shop because of its items perfect for many friends and families, but also because of the owner and her excellent brand of interacting with people turning it into acustomer service art form. Be sure to stop and shop here and enjoy everything.

One would think a cute little place like this in a fab location, must have extremely high rent, which comes with extremely high prices on their items. Nuh uh nope! I was in quite a feisty antiquing mood the other day, and was Unilocaling and prancing around all over town happily shopping. FUN. :) There is not a huge selection here on the westside, and I have driven by Wink many a times before. But I was scared off thinking it’s wayy toooo cute. But again, I have steered away from Wink because I was being a judger miss judgerton, thinking what a cute lil place, therefore hell no do they have good finds at reasonable prices! I learned my lesson. You CAN have a fabulous location and pour love into your items you sell and do it not just for money, but for the love of little chosen timeless antiques! Kudos to being passionate about your business, and it showing! :D I ended up getting a precious bronzed wall mirror with a candle ledge for 20.00! I SO was not expecting that! Everything is so nicely arranged inside. I find myself standing in place, not moving, staring, frozen, just my eyes darting, searching through all the finds in each room. I’m a zombie when I antique. I don’t know how much time passes… Check out Wink it’s worth it!!!

We’re on the lookout for a specific piece for my daughter’s room. It’s just one of those«we’ll know it when we see it» items. I hadn’t paid attention to this place, but wandered in there before we stopped by the Meating Place. If you’re into cutesy cottage or shabby chic décor, this is the place for you! This place is full of adorable vintage, distressed looking pieces that are perfect to compliment any décor style as well as some kitschy fun pieces. There’s furniture, all kinds of collectibles, vintage jewelry and handmade fascinators. It was fun walking around the rooms finding things lots of times inside other furniture and drawers. We found something that might fit in with what we wanted but weren’t crazy about the color. The lady working there told us that the owner paints any item you’d like for just the cost of the paint(about $ 10). GREAT to know!

I was peering at a cute piece of distressed furniture on Craigslist the other night. Sort of a teal, burnished armoire thingy that someone spruced up and was selling for $ 500. Like Dr. Who’s bow tie, it was COOOOO-OOOOL. WHATTHEHELLISTHAT? said husband, dropping his laundry basket on the floor. It’s cute, it’s «anthropologie style». What does that mean? he said. «I don’t think it’s cute. It’s hideous.» Software engineers. Go figure. Showing him the Anthropoligie website, he said, «People pay MONEY for that? It’s old beat up stuff.» After trying to explain to him the virtues of character, personality, patina, interest, charm vs. new, utilitarian, clean, etc. etc. i sort of gave up on him. Yes, dude, yes they do. But I don’t like to pay that much. I like funky, fun, little stores with hidden treasures. Speaking of which, I had been driving past this store for weeks, always just missing their open hours. It’s in a bizarre place, on the corner of West Union and Cornelius Pass Road, by Allstate. Across from where Sweet Oregon Grill used to be(RIP, sniffle sigh). I finally got in there, and I was so right to be excited, this fun little store is loaded with treasures. Stressed, shabby chic, kitschy, cute, adorable, wonderful, REASONABLE, little treasures. I picked up a wooden book shelf for a pittance. I plan to paint it. It’s going to hold stuff. Maybe more stuff from this store? Apparently, the woman who runs it(wasn’t there when I was in) specializes in painting old things and making them awesome. You can tell, there are a lot of awesome one of a kind things in here, including garden art, old jewelry, wall art, painted letters, lamps, pillows, little adorable wooden boxes that are actually CD holders but look like bird houses, you know. NEATO stuff. I saw something else in there I really wanted. I have to figure out how to justify it. Hubby? well, he can go buy some more stainless steel shelving for the garage. BO-Ring.
