Beer isn’t bad for an up and coming brewery. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. However, we visited on growler day and were extremely disappointed to find that our beer was all dregs from the bottom of the keg that kicked during filling and just topped off after changing out. $$ down the drain.

Enjoyed our first visit. Great beer. The Hill Street Honey and Murky Brown Ale where great. Good luck with your expansion. Looking forward to our next growler fill in June!

Really excellent beer. We went for the opening and took the tour and had some samples. They had the hill street honey ale, saison, and pumpkin, and if we had the fridge space for three growlers we would have bought all three. We ended up taking home a growler of saison, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Can’t wait to go get our next growler fill with whatever they have! The space is very small but nicely laid out and well decorated. The brewing room itself is straightforward, so the tour is quick and, for what it is, interesting. The passion of the beer makers is totally obvious — this is a labor of love. It’s a tiny operation but absolutely worth seeking out if you’re into excellent craft beer.

My husband and I were lucky enough to be invited to a private opening for Flounder Brewing Co. The brewery is really small but they were offering 3 beers — a honey ale, a pumpkin ale, and a saison. I was very happy with the pumpkin as it wasn’t overspiced and actually tasted like pumpkin. The other two beers were good also, very drinkable and enjoyable. They’re working on a gingerbread beer right now and it should be ready in the next few weeks. I’m looking forward to stopping by then to try it out.
