Great local gem! Lots of activities and amenities, something for anyone! Go play outside!!! Spread over 9 acres a variety of «stuff» is available. First and foremost there is a skate park! The park includes 2? fully lighted baseball fields & basketball courts, hiking trails, a wonderful fishing lake with floating pier for people to walk over the water and take in the scenery, watch the wildlife, or catch some fish. Adding to these surroundings is a beautiful sensory garden, universal playground (accessible, all inclusive for any child). There is a picnic grove equipped with grills and tabled, covered pavilion, heated inDoor bathrooms, and a horseshoe pit! Ann Van middlesworth park has gone through some major changes since I was growing up & it’s a totally new park! I loved going in the early 90s and still enjoy it now!
