Japanese Karate Center

I was looking for a real Japanese karate school and lucked out with this one. Been going here for about six years. I like it because it is as traditional as you can get here in the US (bow, kneeling, student oath in Japanese, white uniforms). This school belongs to an international organization managed by one of the old guard of shito-​ryu karate: Fumio Demura. The main instructor at this school, Bouchonville Sensei, is very good. He’s precise, incredibly patient, and yet laid back. Very good instructor. Many adult black belts help out at this school, too. Very friendly students. The school participates in other regional school seminars, tournaments, etc. I highly recommend this school, but only for people who can appreciate it and will exercise!
