I just visited for the first time – one of my dogs was adopted from Paws4ever(adoption facility in Mebane) so I figured I would stop by on my lunch hour and shop for a good cause. I was pleasantly surprised at how great this little store is! Sometimes thrift stores can feel cluttered and crowded, but this place is laid out very well and isn’t full of junk. It is clean and well-organized, with a section for pet supplies, of course! They also have: antiques/collectibles, kitchen/household items, jewelry, furniture, home decorative items, books, CDs, and DVDs. There is also an upstairs area with art and pottery, which I didn’t explore this time. The store is staffed with friendly volunteers. I brought home a possibly brand new air purifier($ 12), an unused faucet-mounted water filter($ 5), a Paws4ever t-shirt($ 10) and a couple candles($ 8 and $ 10). They sell handmade soy candles made of natural ingredients that smell AMAZING. The woman who makes them reuses teacups, glasses, Mason jars, and other drinkware(there was one martini glass candle!). Everything is donated and 100% of proceeds for the store go to the animal rescue. They accept credit/debit cards.
