I love this place! I am new to town and have tried out most every restaurant in Hillsborough. Because we are busy moving in, we have been eating out frequently. i thought Radius was just a pizza place, but was I ever surprised. The first time I ate the, I think I got the make it yourself pizza. Delicious. I have had there Macaroni and Cheese, the mushroom and cheese stuffed Ravioli, the veggie burger, the Salmon and Fettuccine with Spinach and Tomatoes. Everything I ate was superb. Each waitress we had was so friendly and personable. The service was good. The only thing that wasn’t excellent was that we had to wait for quite a while for the bill to come. If you are coming to town for a visit or live nearby, I would encourage you to try out Radius. You won’t be sorry!

Stopped in for some pizza and a couple beers. Sat outside since we had the dog with us. We were completely ignored and it seemed that the man that seated us outside had an attitude about something. That’s fine we left to find another place to eat.

We ate at Radius on a Monday night it was moderately busy. The service was fine but unremarkable. The food was delicious and a fairly good value for Monday. Our group orders some appetizers, salads and pizzas. Everything was pretty good, we tried each other’s and got a good sample from each other’s. Overall i would recommend to eat here again but maybe not go out of my way to each here.

If I could give negative stars I would. An embarrassment to Hillsborough. Bad service, consistently bad food. Unapologetic staff.

We like Radius… I think their pizza is very good, and they have a good selection. Last night was disappointing however. We both ordered salads, and a pizza. The pizza came and still no salads, which we cancelled at that point. It felt like they were understaffed as it took awhile to order and get a beer also. Will still go back and try them again, but not a great experience last night.

I had the Besto Pesto sandwich and it was soooo good! Server asked if I liked the margarita and added simple syrup to my liking. Great food. Great service. One of my fave Hillsborough spots.

Probably the best pizza I’ve had anywhere, and I have lived in Chicago and in Italy for years so that is saying something. I think their secret is the ingredients which are very simple and straightforward. I’ve probably been here about 6 times and half of those times I order the Mariner Pizza which is fantastic. I usually take family here when they are visiting from out of town.

This place has gone downhill. Went on a Tuesday evening. Every other place in town was hopping, but Radius was pretty dead. The service was abysmally slow. Salad finally came and was woeful. Limp bagged lettuce, uninspiring dressing. Pizza was late and subpar.

So good… pizza with a sophisticated twist. Great service, good food. We’ll be back!

Really overpriced for what you get. We ordered the pesto chicken pizza. The chicken was definitely out of a can and there weren’t that many toppings on the actual pizza. For $ 15, I expected a lot more. Our waitress was also fairly inattentive. Was offered a refill on my water long after I needed one and when we actually wanted the check. We definitely won’t be back.

We met a couple friends here for dinner and would not recommend the place. Very dull atmosphere and not especially comfortable banquets. We were hungry and ordered a house salad with a harvest pizza. The salad was fine, nothing special but decent. The pizza was very bland and the oddest crust I have ever had. I have enjoyed plenty of great pizzas in my life and make crust from scratch all the time so I didn’t really get what this crust even was. It wasn’t chewy and crisp the way a good pizza crust should be but almost cake-y and oddly flat tasting. It had no texture or flavor actually. The toppings were skimpy and there was way to much dough so the only way to make It edible was to add the dressing from the salad to it and salt. We were hungry after all. The only good part of the meal was the beer which was delcious. A return visit is not necessary.

My wife, daughter and I visited Radius for dinner tonight. While my daughter had been there before, this was our first visit. What a terrific experience! Our server Julian did a wonderful job taking care of us. My daughter had the pork chop special, my wife had their homemade ravioli and I tried their burger. All of the dishes were excellent and I have to say the burger was one of the best I’ve ever had! They top it with a bacon onion marmalade that’s out of this world! We’ll definitely be back soon!!! Thanks Radius!

The pizza here is pretty good. They have some creative pies and I always try to get something new. The pizzas are personal sized but you probably won’t be able to finish… you’ll be able to bring some home! The pasta dishes look good as well, though I haven’t tried them yet. Best part about this spot is the outdoor dining on the patio during the nicer seasons. The staff is friendly but some seem to need some additional training, probably through no fault of their own. Seems that the younger staff don’t know how to make cocktails(understandably) so that requires the bartender to come by the table to double check an order. Food bussers reaching across guests to put plates down rather than over the shoulder of the person getting the food delivered. Not offering water and then forgetting to bring it when it is requested. Simple kinks like these that could be worked out and elevate this place to the next level. Full bar but not a wide variety of liquors. Good selection of micro-brews on tap along with your regular bottled beers. Should be noted this place is kid friendly. Good location, good food, average service, clean space, just needs a little extra training. Will be back next time I’m in town.

I love the lunch special at Radius! Create your own pizza and then get a salad, both for $ 11. They even have gluten-free crust, too. If you are a local, def check out their special date night events. Parents can have a date night and the kids can watch a movie in the back while you eat in peace. Can’t wait to get back for more pizza!

So this is not gonna be one of my longer reviews, but that is simply bc I didn’t go to the restaurant, instead my roommate shared a piece of her left over pizza from lunch yesterday and I just couldn’t not Unilocal about how out of this world amazing it was even a day old! She did say that she ordered the Most expensive pizza on their menu, it’s called the Shane. The flavor was sooo good! I can’t wait to physically go there and check it out one of these days and have the pizza fresh, straight from their pizza oven right into my mouth! Yuuummmmmmmmm!!!’

We have been here several times. Twice we sat at the bar and twice in the dining room. Eating at the bar works the best. Both times we sat in the dining room we were ignored for a long time. The second time the hostess seemed embarrassed and came over to take our drink order. She told us our server would bring our drinks over. Again we waited for awhile and a server came over to ask is what we would like to drink. We had to remind her to bring the order from the bar. When she brought drinks, we quickly ordered as we weren’t sure the next time we would see her again. The food is good, not outstanding. Needs a little more flavor and creativity imho. The location is convenient even though downtown. We can usually find parking nearby. Beer selection is usually pretty good as well. Their biggest downfall is the service. We have found that it is spotty at best.

It has been too long. I ordered the ravioli in the lemon butter sauce with shrimp. It was spectacularly good. Were I at Il Palio, I would have been pleased by this wonderful serving of pasta! The shrimp were plump, succulent and perfectly cooked. The sauce was at once wonderfully piquant and rich, it is an ideal balance. My wife ordered a pesto passion pizza with chicken. It was superbly presented on a wonderfully crispy and light crust. Yeah, we have to get here more often.

Well they do try to be trendy with the menu and décor. They do get the décor right but the pizza can be a miss quite often. Pros: they have a little outdoor dining area, Good beer but expensive, gluten free pizza, decent service, noise level manageable, usually not a long wait. Cons: Too expensive for what you get based on quality taste and portions. The food can be boring at times in flavor. Maybe a lack of seasoning or ingredients. The parking can be cumbersome but of course you are downtown.

Service was extremely slow(but we did have 10 people). We were there for a celebration brunch and one of my friends asked for an espresso cocktail, but the bartender basically said that wasn’t possible. The pizza selection is super unusual, which I loved. I had the Paddy’s Pie(with no bacon), which has potato on it! Be warned: the potato is very over-powering(perhaps maybe wouldn’t have been with bacon on it)…but I like potatoes. I definitely want to go back and try the Cyclist! Onion marmalade base?! Sounds awesome.

WOW! Exponentially better than my last visit here. Arrived to a lively folksy group playing music outside, setting a perfect mood for a late Thursday night dinner. Attentive staff seated us and got us drinks right away. The pizzas are big enough for one really hungry person(me) or as a lighter meal for two. FOod arrived quickly this time. Everyone in my family got their own pizza — I got the sausage and pepperoni, which was wonderfully flavorful. They’ve really perfected the crust. Dad and brother got the Farmer’s Market and the Pesto something or other, both of which were really good but didn’t have a marinara base. Mom got The Cyclist, and the crust got a bit burnt so they brought her one whole pizza as a ‘snack’ and then came out with another free one! She ended up liking the burnt bits better so she ate the first one, but not complaining! Is the build-your-own pizza only available at lunch? Didn’t ask but that would’ve been a nice option to have. In all, great service, great music, great food, not too expensive. Highly recommend!
