I have downloaded Unilocal app only to write a review about this stinky salon. So you know how serious I am in reviewing their service!
Horrible service, no kidding, this girl ruined my eyebrows. Plus bad attitude. She behave as though she is doing me a favor by threading my eyebrows! And she is always in a hurry. Went there twice but no more service from me to these arrogant idiots anymore! Will not recommend anyone, forget my friends alone. If you want to buy bad mood and lowest grade service please visit them.

Horrendous service!!! The girl who serviced me just took the tip that she decided was right before giving the change back to me.!! Although I didn’t want to tip her for her horrible service that day. I am surprised to see that they still have business for their stinky service! Went there twice and was utterly disappointed both times. I will NEVER go there again. Or recommend any friend to such low quality service! It’s not like they do their job well, plus I had to put up with a bad attitude!
I am forced to choose a star rating. I would have chosen ZERO if I could!!!

Not friendly and they ruined my eyebrows. Clearly just clean up and don’t make them thinner means something different here. I left with thin, uneven, odd shaped brows that took months to grow back.

These guys leave their spam advertising all over people’s cars. I had two Starglow ads on my car within a week. Keep your trash off other people’s things.

Though there are decent reviews for this salon. This place has a tendency to rush things up even if you are there for elaborate services like waxing, facial. This attitude leads them to assign just anyone (I was assigned someone absolutely new for waxing). Despite of booking an appointment two days prior they fell short of ppl when I arrived the salon and assigned a new person who didn’t know much about waxing. In addition they kept disturbing us every 10 min to hurry up. After the services I was told that she was new and seems I was the guinea pig. Despite of knowing I had issues with the services thanks to the management that assigned a new person to me they never offered any compensation. Overall I had a pathetic experience!!!

Got my eyebrows threaded for 5 dollars, which is a great price. I’d had a really bad experience at Princeton Nails on Nassau Street, my eyebrows were crooked, so coming here and getting such a good job done was fantastic and actually cheaper than the other place.
I’m not sure about hair cuts, I’m always nervous with cheap hair cuts, but if someone else tries and say’s it’s good then I’d give it a go.

not bad for 5bucks eyebrow threading. closest i can get. place is ok. not to fancy or watso watever. come in early. staffs is more like ok come on let get it over with type. i came in for my eyebrows not to socialize. love my new brows. wootwoot

I went to this place today for eyebrow threading. It’s a nice place and clean and whatever, but definitely not welcoming. The people working there are totally not friendly at all, and everyone seemed to have some kind of attitude. I’m pretty sure that nobody said much more to me than a few two word commands under their breath the entire time that I was there. When I was done, it didn’t even look like the girl did anything to my brows at all.
I gave this place 2 stars because, looking on the bright side, at least she didn’t destroy my eyebrows… and it was cheap enough. But I’m certainly not going back there.

I’ve been to Star Glow for haircuts and for eyebrow threading. Threading here is $ 4, a price that you can’t beat, and I enjoyed the experience more than my previous threadings in Edison because you don’t feel rushed and they do a great job. Ask for Priti or Manga, the owner, for that service. For hair cutting for women, my sister and I are personally fans of Fernando, while our cousins are fans of Claudine. Regardless, this is a situation where you’re getting more than you pay for– $ 16 for a woman’s cut without blow dry, $ 35 with. I’ve seen men getting their hair cut here, too, though I’m not sure about pricing for that. Convenient location as well. It’s located in Hillsborough, not quite sure why the address is showing as Somerset.
