My husband and I were so excited about our dishwasher the young lady that sold it to us was great. We bought and had it delivered, and we paid to have it installed, don’t ever do this, because they have problems with installation. The first delivery guy came to our house brought the dishwasher, carried it up the driveway by his self and carried it in the house, and physically dropped it on the floor very hard. The other guy with him looked under the sink and. Said I can’t install your d/w we don’t work with this kind of pipes, our pipes are normal pipes. So they left and left the old d/w The store sent a plumber, and he took the old d/w out and fixed the pipes, so he could install, he went to open the box and the bottom of the dish washer was broke, so he called the store to let them know what happened, the whole time he was here he was rude, and I felt very uncomfortable with his presents. And he had 2 other people with him. So they left, and about 1 week out they sent a replacement dishwasher and picked up the broke one. Another week went by and they had a plumber secheduled but he didn’t show up, so finally another plumber came after the 3rd week and finally installed our dishwasher and took the old one away. Over all the store sent contractors out 5 different times to our home. And we finally had our d/w installed the week of the 19th of October, we bought it the first of October, the box had sit in my floor for about 3 weeks, we finally have the excited new feeling back with our d/w. It cleans the dishes really great, but as far as service to have something installed don’t even bother with with this part, of the deal, if it’s too good to be true it probably is.

I tried to return an un opened online item outside of the 90 days. They were on the phone with the online division of Home Depot for 3 phone calls trying to find a sku number and wasted more than 30 minutes of my time and ended up telling me could not refund my money or even issue me a credit. Not even a credit, when the policy in the check out area states they are able to give you a credit more than 90 days. They have a tag line, «Hassle free returns» HA! Unbelievable a huge company like this would not offer me a credit on an item still being sold. I called the customer service line and they called the North Pointe Home Depot who said they would be happy to take the item back for a credit. Thank you store manager at North Durham #3632 and Kenneth, online supervisor at Home Depot customer service line on 10÷18÷15!

This used to be a great place to shop. The staff now avoid eye contact and disappear if they think you are going to ask for help. The store cleanliness has deteriorated. I found on female sales person in Appliances that was great. I used to be able to use my American Legion ID to get a military discount but yesterday the clerk took great pleasure in telling me that was not an acceptable ID to Home Depot and showed me a form. It was her lack of respect and pleasure in denying me the discount that has soured my view of Home Depot. I will not be shopping at any Home Depot any longer, I am going back to Lowe’s where they value customers. I spent a little over $ 2,500 last year between Home Depot and Lowe’s so they will not miss me at all, and that seems to reflect their attitude. On-line I bought a Husky tool chest. The delivery guys put it upside down on my driveway and took off. When I opened it it has a dent on the front and the drawers do not slide properly. No satisfaction from customer service. So now I will not be returning to their stores or using their on-line service. Bob Nardeli ruined Home Depot just like he ruined Chrysler when he was their CEOs.

People in the store are SUPER. Home Depot online sucks. Should have ordered my Maytag refrigerator from store. Did online, and now have to get it fixed. Horrendous noise like nuts & bolts in a can when compressor running. Man who delivered did not leave all interior shelf parts. This is horrible. All after ordering online & then being told 2 days before delivery«backordered 2 weeks». I call BS. I want this POS out and never another Maytag again. My 20 year old fridge was great compared to this. Calling tomorrow to try to get straight. Very disappointing.

I was shocked at how genuinely helpful people are! And they ACTUALLY know what they are talking about. Bob in plumbing actually saved me money by showing me a different way to spruce up our bath tub. He brought me to each piece that I needed and explained how to use everything. And Mike in paint was really helpful too. This is the first time I’ve been impressed with a Home Depot.
