Stadium Roller Rink

We have been coming here for a short time, mostly due to the lack of service and poor facility in our hometown of Jackson, MI (Allskate). So far, we like a lot more. The crowds are smaller, the facility much cleaner, the class of people A LOT better, and no special favors for certain individuals. Also, the variety here is better. You can skate backwards, forwards, whatever you wish, as long as you are skilled enough. They have video boards, and no teenage skate «guards» policing the high school attitudes. They also have a small and large half-​pipe, which is another different feature. They have little carts for the kids too, a bounce house, and a trampoline aside from the standard arcade games and tickets. The food is typical and you can expect to pay a bit more than regular price. Doug, the owner is a nice man and is an expert instructor, and charge nothing additional for his instruction, though sometimes he is a bit busy. No place is perfect, but overall, the value, the quality, and the appreciation for customers is obvious in this place. I guess that is why he had been there almost 40 years. We won’t be going to allskate again, until there is significant change or a new owner, which wouldn’t surprise me if there was a new one soon. The prices are more fair as well, and if you join the mobile app you can get discounts and a punch card. The «team» at Allskate could learn from this place, our NEW place.
