Prima La Pizza

Pizza here is just amazing! love how cheesy it is and how they put a lot of topping too! Crush is so cheesy that it melts in your mouth!

Stopped in for dinner during the middle of the week. This is a great little place! Service was spot on and very friendly. Drinks and bread were quickly delivered. Had the boneless wings for an appetizer. Went with the «Big Meatball» pizza for dinner. Easy sauce, variety of meats and a fantastic crust. Will definitely be back!

The pizza here is really good! Crust was just amazing! The topping (Pepperoni and grilled chicken) was just delicious! Highly recommend coming here to grab pizza!

I frequent Chicago on business and like to stay in the Westchester/​Oak Brook area. I tend to hit the local spots on the evening that I am alone and hanging out at the hotel.
Tonight I parked my car and was headed to Jimmy Johns, but passed this place I assumed only had Pizza. I saw a chalkboard inside that had specials and one was Spaghetti Carbonara… My interest was peaked and I went it.
I ended up having tortellini soup which was incredible, garlic bread with cheese that came with marinara on the side, also incredible. The main course I ordered was fettuccini Alfredo with grilled chicken and broccoli. When that came out I knew this was now one of my favorite places. Chicken was tender and flavorful, broccoli was perfect.
I would recommend this place 100 times over to anyone considering coming here. The atmosphere and service was great as well!

Very comfortable atmosphere. We have dined here several times and always enjoyed the food and workers. My 4 kids can be overly picky, but always happy to come here. Wonderful restaurant!

WOW! Never expected to have the best chicken marsala EVER!!! It wasn’t sweet like a lot if them are and that’s just the way I like it. I am here a couple more days in town and will definitely be back!

Takeout order– delicious baked ziti and tortellini soup! Reasonably priced and excellent service.

Walked in to a nice cozy establishment. It was lunch time so it wasn’t that packed. We were greeted and seated promptly. The menu is pretty straight to the point & not difficult. We had the special pizza thin crust. (Sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers, & onions) Wel requested well done & extra sauce. It took about 20 mins to prepare. It came out smoking hot!!! It was a very good pizza. Our female server was delightful. I’ll be back!!!

I like this place, except it is a bit pricey so I don’t order as often. Now when we call, they have caller ID and already know your name before even giving it to them. I called my order the other day and they already had my husband’s name saved on their system. I was a bit impressed by this. They even went out of their way to make us a lunch one day when they were closed for a party. Great job Prima!

Really one of the best experiences I’ve had. Such a great waiter. He performed exactly as I would have dreamed. Attentive, helpful, very polite, awesome. The food was incredible. My wife and I enjoyed it so much. It was delicious and hot. The prices were very fair, food excellent, and service perfect. Next time I’m in the area I will definitely go again.

We order food from here at least once a week. Love their pizza, always fresh ingredients and always great service. Definitely would recommend this place.

Fantastic. Recommended by staff at nearby hotel. Server (Tatiana?) was friendly and remembered orders in a party of 10. Clearly knows what she’s doing, none of that «…who ordered this… what is this?» nonsense that you run into at crappy restaurants where servers just don’t care.
Menu has a good range of Italian options (both traditional and Italian-​American) at fairly reasonable prices given the ample portions and extras that are included (e.g. order some meat, get a side of pasta that could be a meal on its own).
It’s only a pity that I don’t live locally, I would definitely be by this place more often.

The eggplant involtini is EVERYTHING! I’d never heard of the dish before, let alone tried it, but saw a picture from a fellow Unilocaler and decided to try it. It is a delicious non-​meat dish. This place has delicious food and nice people. I always get carry out and have gone during non peak times. A very nice family owned business.

The food was ok, they brought out warm bread in the beginning which was good. I asked if the fried mushrooms were prepared there or frozen, he said they were frozen (at least he was honest), so I skipped them and stuck to the bread. I had a salad, spaghetti with marinara sauce and a tiramisu for dessert. The upside is, the portions were a nice size. They weren’t overwhelming but didn’t skimp either. The most positive experience was my server. Although I rated the food as 3 star, he was 5 star, really great. I would go again. It’s not a place I would rave about, but a nice place to stop in and try different dishes.

Prima La Pizza has the worst take out service I have ever experience! My husband and I like to order food in on Fridays after a long week of work and every single time we order form Prima they forget something or get the order completely wrong. Friday ¼/​13 was the last and final time I will ever order or dine at Prima La Pizza. I had high hopes for this place since it is so close to home and decent food but I have had it with them. I’d rather dine at Olive Garden this is how annoyed I am.

I tried the thin crust cheese, sausage, and bbq chicken pizzas. They were just OK. I actually wasn’t the biggest fan of the bbq chicken and sausage so I mainly just ate the cheese. My company ordered the pizza so if it was my choice, I would probably stick with Aurelio’s pizza.

As an out-​of-​towner who does not have access to good, non-​chain, pizza, this place was a great surprise around the corner from where my family is staying. We had a double dough, which was a new option to us, with sausage, home made in house, and green peppers. Only took 20 minutes and turned out perfect! The staff was friendly, lots of smiles and thank yous. We had a short conversation with a man, who I assume is the owner, about his experience with Dick Portillo in the past. Pretty neat! As far as local, family owned pizza goes, this place is excellent.
On a side note, the double dough is just as good cold the next day.

I’ve never been here before because I thought it was just a pizza joint. I never even looked through the window when I was at the strip mall for UPS or Jimmy Johns. I figured, there are so many other pizza places closer to me, I really don’t need another one.
Turns out, this place is more than just pizza. I had no idea! At the insistence of my husband who wanted to try this place because our neighbors go here often, we went for the first time last night. We were so surprised when we walked in to find a nice looking restaurant. We were seated promptly by the friendly hostess and greeted immediately by our server.
My daughter who has a penchant for all things alfredo, requested gnocchi rather than the requisiste fettucine. They happily obliged. My god, this had to be the best alfredo sauce ever! I couldn’t help reaching over to eat a couple of knobs of gnocchi! I ordered the eggplant parmigiana, which was good, but not the best I’ve had. And the accompanying penne with meat sauce was a little watery. My husband ordered the meatball pizza and we ended up eating only two slices because we were so full but just the two meals.
Overall, not expensive, friendly and a nice family place. We will definitely come back and try the other dishes.

Oh gosh I am so overdue with this review but what i will say is that along with the awesome pizza the people who run this place and work here are absolutely amazing.
I wish I could remember the two servers names but the one lad was great to talk to. Knew his football (soccer), and was kind enough to arrange a taxi for me.
I can not really remember the pizza I ordered but I remember ordering 4 slices too much and still finding the room to finish it because it was that yum.
