Two stars because I love the products, designs, and the message about sustainability. Also love the fact that the products are designed and printed locally(I assume). I just wish this store had better customer service. Being born and raised on the Big Island, and having moved to California 11 years ago, I would have loved to buy some shirts for my family to wear back on the mainland. However, both times that I’ve come in, the people working here are too busy standing at the counter doing nothing, that they can’t greet us as we walk in, or offer any help as we are thumbing through the racks, looking for sizes. I’d much rather drive to Kamuela and shop at the store in Parker Ranch.

Aloha Grown, a company which has been open for 4 years and still doing good in these tough times. They symbolize and believe in «local», support, sustain and share. When you buy local, it stays local, for the most part. The messages on the shirts, decals, and clothing convey a lot of meaning. Plus once again, this store is only exclusive to Hilo. The store is well organized and the staff is really nice. Support local, support Aloha Grown!

Great place. They really think about the environment! You gotta go here. The lady that helped us was great, she explained the clothes and where they came from and also suggested things for us to do while we’re here in Hilo. We’ll be back!

Found this little shop while walking off the pizza eaten at Café Pesto(which was very good by the way). The Aloha Grown shop has a lot of casual tops and nice designs(even some yoga items). In fact, this was the only place I actually bought anything, other than food, during a 7 day vacation. There were only a few negatives:(1) I wish their website reflected what they carry in the store, since they are so far away; and(2) the sizes varied depending on the style so you need to be there.
