Located on the main road on Kamehameha Avenue into Downtown Hilo is Bayfront Park. This is not really a beach park though it is by the water. Wonderful views here of Hilo Bay and places to the north with green pastures. The place is very leisure like. Paddleboarding seems to be the main thing going for this place. Also saw a shave ice truck parked here serving out cold treats. It is a nice place to spend a leisurely Hawaiian afternoon in the sun at.
