Received a very beautiful arrangement as a thank you gift from my clients. The flowers were fresh and beautiful. They called prior to delivering which was nice.

This florist is the best in town… She really takes time to make a beautiful arrangement and it’s affordable. I am a return customer and have been for years. Her arrangements are absolutely beautiful and she even delivered it! She has done weddings as well for friends and they couldn’t have been happier… I’m surprised she doesn’t have many reviews… You can even call and order by phone… Just tell her them amount you want to spend and the colors and she’ll work her magic!

i was a little skeptical about on-​line ordering because lets face it, its hilo. but being as i live in las vegas my options are slim because most florists in hilo do not accept payments over the phone. the last time i ordered from kui’i and i, what was supposed to be a bouquet of an amazing arangement in a little basket that was around $ 150 actually turned out to be a orchid and a root that got delivered. so i found hilo floral designs and ordered the cotton candy for my sisters 29^th birthday. she was very happy with them and they actually called me the day before to confirm it wasnt a fradulent charge. it was actually really nice. i will be ordering from hilo floral designs from now on and without doubt or worry!

Why do I even have to give any stars? This place deserves none! They ruined mother’s day for my mom. They advertise with arrangement pictures from teleflora, but the actual arrangement looks nothing like it! They advertised the arrangement as 21″ H x 15.5″ W. What my mother received was about a foot wide and a foot tall. Instead of a long vase, she got a short stubby one. Instead of a nice arrangement with roses, lilies and what not, she received a bouquet with roses bunched in one area, daisy looking flowers bunched in another area, some peonies here and there, and maybe 2 lilies in the whole arrangement, and they were all smashed together to create a messy looking arrangement that a 5 year old could’ve made. When I called for a refund, they told me I have to take the arrangement back myself to get my money back! I live off island so I am unable to do this… I trusted this company to do a good job and make my mother happy. Since they couldn’t do so, they should pick up the flowers themselves! Do you know how ashamed I was to call my mom to tell her to take the flowers back?! Needless to say, she was very willing to. She said «yes, they are kinda small». I feel terrible that I couldn’t make my mom happy on the one day a year where she deserves to feel special. Instead, because of the terrible job done by Hilo Floral Designs, they made my mom feel like her only daughter didn’t spend the time or money to get her decent, mother’s day worthy flowers. And once I shared this experience with my friends, a few of them also told me they had bad experiences with this company. If Unilocal allowed me to, I would post a picture of what my mom got on her «special day». Horrible, rubbish flowers…
