Hitco Moving & Storage

This is the 1^st review I’ve written for Unilocal!But I had to get the word out… and let everyone know how truly impressed I am with HITCO. They made my move to Hawaii a really wonderful experience.
First off, let me say, I’ve moved a lot in my life, across town and across the country and this was by far the best move ever.
My friends and relations will tell you, I’m not a Pollyanna, I’m jaded and I’m a skeptic. So believe me when I say this was an exceptionally good experience, in fact I might even say Great. I know it sounds crazy, but GREAT it was!
Moving from San Francisco, California to Hilo, Hawaii (on the Big Island — you know the one with the volcano) is a huge move, fraught with it’s own inherent stresses. And with such a big move, things always seem to go wrong, but amazingly I didn’t have any problems. I mean really, none — and I really credit that to 2 things.
1. Lots of planning & research (getting lots of on site bids from the different moving companies, is key) and having the time to do this.
2. HITCO and Hitco’s partner in the Bay Area — Hawaii Relocations (Pleasanton, CA).
From Start to Finish the move was a great experience. My warmest thanks to Brad and the guys at the HITCO office in Hilo, I really appreciated their dedication to great customer service, and a stress free unpack. They went above and beyond, and it is very much appreciated.
The movers, K & T (they called themselves K & T so I feel okay with that). Made the unpack stress free and in fact very enjoyable (something, I never thought I’d say or have ever heard from others who have moved), they both have really great hearts and were a joy to work with. HITCO should be really proud to have them as part of the HITCO company — they are a real asset.
To all of you who move to or from the Hawaiian Islands, HITCO is the only choice. With warmest Aloha and a big Mahalo (a big hawaiian thank you) HITCO, I couldn’t have done it without any of you!
May everyone have the chance to visit these beautiful islands, and experience the true Aloha spirit.
