Rundown interior, uninspiring displays, products you probably could find anywhere else for much cheaper… I used to love Radioshack stores, but it seems they cant keep up.
Hope this location closes and frees up mall space for better stores.

I am a fan of the Radio Shack brand, but this store is mediocre at best. Every time I go in, the staff is standing around chatting it up with each other and gossipping so much they pay very little attention to their customers. I could overlook that if they were friendly, but they just aren’t. My last visit to this location, after several minutes of looking for something while the staff members were having a good time visiting with each other, I went up to the counter and they basically ignored me until I said «Excuse me!»…then the lady that was working acted bothered that I was cutting into her social hour. Just because Hilo is small and there’s not much competition for many stores doesn’t mean you get to treat your customers badly. From now on, I’ll order online from Radio Shack instead of having to deal with the lack of good customer service that I routinely find in this store.
