Spa Vive & Hilo Massage Clinic

I am thrilled to have found this oasis in Hilo. I’ll definitely be returning! My first experience was a deep tissue massage with Jon Himalaya-​I can confidently say that after receiving massages around the world at various top-​notch spas, Jon is a true healer-​this was the best deep tissue massage I’ve ever had! He really knows his anatomy and is very intuitive. I’ve also received a 90 minute lymph drain massage with Leena (I was recovering from strep throat and was feeling sluggish and needing to detox from the infection and all the antibiotics); my first experience with lymph massage and it was divine! Leena has an innate sense of what your body needs. She incorporated novel techniques with hot stones, warm towels and recommended great aftercare such as drinking lemon/​lime water and taking a sauna. When I left, I felt cured-​light, joyful even-​like the strep throat was banished from my body entirely. Incredible!
I was giddy to find out that they carry Eminence products, they’re pricey but potent and last a long time. I’m somewhat obsessed and love the entire line-​but you really need to try the Strawberry Rhubarb dermafoliant! I booked facials for my sister and I during her visit next week.
I think they made a regular out of me :)

My wife and I booked a spa session last minute and they were happy to accommodate. We had a body scrub, massage, facial, manicure, and pedicure, and everything was fantastic. The technicians were very friendly and kept us very relaxed and comfortable throughout the day. Even though our session took most of the day, the technicians kept the same level attentiveness for each product. We would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a relaxing day of pampering.

For my very first spa experience at Spa Vive, I booked the Paris Spa Day package, which included an hour massage & body scrub with Kelsea, and a European facial with Christi!
Kelsea did a great job working out the tension in my neck & shoulders, and after the massage even showed me a few techniques I could use on my own.
Christi definitely knows her stuff! I’d highly recommend her for all your skin care needs! She worked her magic on my sensitive skin & introduced me to the fab Eminence Organics skin care line, a few products of which I went home with. Before my facial she put me in the sauna (at no extra charge!) while she set up the Paris room.
Housed in a charming Victorian building, this spa is impeccably clean, the staff is warm & accommodating, & you’re offered a refreshing glass of ice cold water at every turn. The prices can’t be beat for the quality of service & tranquil atmosphere here in Hilo. Can’t wait to return for my next spa day!

I took my mom to get a massage for her birthday and we both left feeling amazing! Thomas and kelsea are so great and we can’t wait for the next one. I also had a waxing done and Jessica was amazing, I will definitely be returning and I’ve already stayed recommending spa vive to everyone!

I had a great 90 minute massage with Kelsea today! One of the best I’ve ever had. Feel super relaxed and lots of aches and pains have disappeared. I’m a massage therapist myself and was having some pain in my forearm. I asked Kelsea to work a little extra on this, and she did a great with this and everything else.
Everything from person answering phone, to reception, to punctuality, to professionalism is top notch. Also lots of hot towels, which I need to use more in my practice I think.

Went for a couples valentines massage and facial. Super relaxing and the best massage and facial. Was a wonderful experience for my first time going to get a massage and facial. Thanks to my wife for the Valentine’s Day treat it was great!

Spa Vive is the best all around spa and saloon in Hilo and the most affordable on the island. Having visited most of the resort spas, Spa Vive is less than half the price with treatments, and as good or better. It is impeccably clean, with friendly staff and excellent facilities. I highly recommend it if you are looking for an upscale spa on the east side of the island.

Kristin at Hilo massage clinic gave me a great massage that mixed deep tissue and Lomi Lomi styles for a wonderful and therapeutic feeling lasting the rest of the day. I highly recommend this place for spa and massage. Worth a visit from where I live in Portland Oregon

We had the couples massage and it was totally worth it. Relaxed and refreshed afterwards. Highly recommended!
